Key aggregate cryptosystem for scalable data sharing in cloud storageMugesh Mukkandan
This document proposes a key-aggregate cryptosystem (KAC) to securely and efficiently share data in cloud storage. KAC allows data owners to generate constant-sized decryption keys that delegate access to any subset of encrypted files, without increasing key size. It describes the existing approaches that encrypt data before uploading but have increasing costs as more decryption keys are shared. The proposed KAC system uses a special public-key encryption technique that produces constant-sized aggregate decryption keys that can decrypt any ciphertext associated with attribute classes contained in the key. It outlines the authentication, encryption, sharing, and decryption modules and concludes that KAC provides a more flexible delegation method compared to hierarchical key assignment.

This document proposes a key-aggregate cryptosystem (KAC) for securely and flexibly sharing encrypted data in cloud storage. KAC allows a data owner to encrypt files under different class identifiers and generate a single aggregate key encompassing decryption power for any chosen ciphertext class set. This aggregate key can be sent through limited secure channels like email, addressing disadvantages of traditional approaches that require sending many distinct secret keys. The proposed solution could help Alice securely share specific encrypted files on Dropbox with Bob by sending him a single aggregate key.

This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a mediated certificateless public key encryption (mCL-PKE) scheme for secure data sharing in cloud storage. The key points are:
1) The mCL-PKE scheme solves problems of key escrow and certificate revocation without using computationally expensive bilinear pairing operations.
2) It uses a security mediator to instantly revoke compromised users and enforce access policies. The mediator also supports partial decryption to preserve data confidentiality.
3) The scheme extends mCL-PKE with an access control list to allow the data owner to encrypt data only once for multiple authorized users, improving efficiency over previous pairing-based schemes.
This document summarizes an audit-free cloud storage encryption scheme called deniable attribute-based encryption (ABE). It allows cloud storage providers to create fake user secrets to protect user privacy from outside coercion. The scheme is based on Waters ciphertext policy ABE, enhanced to use composite order bilinear groups. This enables users to provide fake secrets that seem legitimate, preventing auditors from determining the true secrets. The goal is to block coercion efforts by making them useless, as auditors cannot prove fake evidence is wrong. This protects user privacy even if cloud storage providers are compelled to hand over secrets.

Secure Authorised De-duplication using Convergent Encryption TechniqueEswar Publications
Cloud computing means retrieve and storing information and programs over the Internet instead of your computer's hard drive. To protect confidentiality of the perceptive data while supporting de-duplication data is encrypted by the projected convergent encryption method before out sourcing. It makes the first attempt to properly address the problem of authorized data deduplication. We also present some new deduplication
constructions supporting authorized duplicate in cloud using symmetric algorithm. Data deduplication is one of the techniques which used to solve the repetition of data. The deduplication techniques are commonly used in the cloud server for reducing the space of the server. To prevent the unauthorized use of data accessing and generate duplicate data on cloud the encryption technique to encrypt the data before stored on cloud server.
We propose a mediated certificateless encryption scheme without pairing operations for securely sharing sensitive information in public clouds. Mediated certificateless public key encryption (mCL-PKE) solves the key escrow problem in identity based encryption and certificate revocation problem in public key cryptography.

This document summarizes a research paper on secure authentication and data sharing in cloud storage using a key aggregate cryptosystem. It begins with an abstract that describes using public key cryptography to encrypt data and delegate decryption rights for any subset of ciphertexts with a constant size key. It then provides details on the proposed key aggregate cryptosystem, including an introduction, related work comparing it to other solutions, the system architecture, and sections on key aggregate encryption and a conclusion. The key aggregate cryptosystem allows a master key holder to release an aggregate key that decrypts a flexible set of ciphertexts in cloud storage while keeping other files encrypted.

The Data sharing is an important functionality in cloud storage. In this article, we show how to securely, efficiently, and
flexibly share data with others in cloud storage. We describe new public-key cryptosystems which produce constant-size ciphertexts
such that efficient delegation of decryption rights for any set of ciphertexts are possible. The novelty is that one can aggregate any set
of secret keys and make them as compact as a single key, but encompassing the power of all the keys being aggregated. In other
words, the secret key holder can release a constant-size aggregate key for flexible choices of ciphertext set in cloud storage, but the
other encrypted files outside the set remain confidential. This compact aggregate key can be conveniently sent to others or be stored in
a smart card with very limited secure storage. We provide formal security analysis of our schemes in the standard model. We also
describe other application of our schemes. In particular, our schemes give the first public-key patient controlled encryption for flexible
hierarchy, which was yet to be known.

1) Cloud storage services have become popular, but user privacy is a concern as data owners do not want unauthorized access. Existing encryption schemes assume cloud providers are trusted, but they could be forced to reveal secrets.
2) The document proposes a new encryption scheme called deniable Ciphertext Policy Attribute Based Encryption (CP-ABE) that allows cloud providers to create fake user secrets, protecting real secrets even if the provider is coerced.
3) By using deniable CP-ABE, cloud providers can convince coercers that obtained secrets are genuine while actually protecting user privacy, addressing a key limitation of prior encryption schemes.

Authentication on Cloud using Attribute Based EncryptionAnkit Raj
Improving Cloud Security for Authentication using Attribute Based Encryption.
Attribute-based encryption is a type of public key encryption in which the secret key of a user and the cipher text are dependent upon attributes. The decryption of a cipher text is possible only if the set of attributes of the user key matches the attributes of the cipher text. A crucial security aspect of Attribute-Based Encryption is collusion-resistance: An adversary that holds multiple keys should only be able to access data if at least one individual key grants access. Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. Cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and enterprises with various capabilities to store and process their data in third-party data centers that may be located far from the user–ranging in distance from across a city to across the world. There were several cases of security breach on the cloud in the past few year and data security was compromised like Adobe’s Security Breach, Amazon website failure and many security attacks like this motivated us to work on strict security measures on cloud. In such a system, a user provides an untrusted server, say a cloud service provider, with a transformation key that allows the cloud to translate any ABE cipher text satisfied by that user’s attributes into a simple cipher text, and it only incurs a small computational overhead for the user to recover the plaintext from the transformed cipher text. Security of an ABE system with outsourced decryption ensures that an adversary including a malicious cloud will not be able to learn anything about the encrypted message. The formal model of ABE with outsourced decryption forms a concrete scheme. Data owner decides the access using combinations of or policies and encrypt the file and corresponding authentic user can decrypt it using their policies.
Secure Data Sharing in Cloud Computing using Revocable Storage Identity- Base...rahulmonikasharma
The document discusses secure data sharing in cloud computing using revocable storage identity-based encryption. It proposes a system with two levels of security - using session passwords that can only be used once, and a new password is generated each time. It focuses on session-based authentication for encrypting files and checking for duplicates to reduce storage space on the cloud. Convergent encryption is used to enforce data confidentiality during deduplication by encrypting data before outsourcing it. The proposed system aims to flexibly support data access control and revocation compared to existing solutions.
Certificate less key management scheme inIJNSA Journal
In mobile adhoc networks (MANETs) an efficient and secure key management scheme is extremely crucial. Key management schemes for MANETs are mainly based on identity-based public key cryptography (ID-PKC) or certificate-based public key cryptography, both of which has their inherit problem. The ID-PKC has the key escrow problem and certificate based cryptography have a high computational costs of certificates deployment. In this paper, we present a distributed key management scheme, in which a combination of certificate less public key cryptography (CL-PKC) and threshold cryptography is employed. The scheme proposed in this paper not only achieves several enhanced security attributes for key management in MANET but also eliminates the need for certificate-based public key distribution and the key escrow problem efficiently.

Ensuring the security of cloud computing is second major factor and dealing with because of service availability failure the single cloud providers demonstrated less famous failure and possibility malicious insiders in the single cloud. A movement towards Multi-Clouds, In other words ”Inter-Clouds” or ”Cloud-Of-Clouds” as emerged recently. This works aim to reduce security risk and better flexibility and efficiency to the user. Multi-cloud environment has ability to reduce the security risks as well as it can ensure the security and reliability.

Identifying the Performance Efficiency Of Attribute Based Encryption With Sec...IJSRD
Attribute-based encryption (ABE) can be used for the encryption of data with attributes and logs. Instead of encrypting each part of a log with the keys of all recipients, it is possible to encrypt the log only with attributes which match recipient’s attributes. This primitive can also be used for broadcast encryption in order to decrease the number of keys used. Here the access control will be given with the keys and the attributes. The outsourcing computation cost will be comparatively less when compared to the existing system. The data will be shared between the two users if and only if the key matches. In addition, for the first time, we propose an outsourced ABE construction which provides check ability of the outsourced computation results in an efficient way. The performance analysis has been proven this method to be more secured.

This document proposes a three-layer security model for privacy-preserving cloud storage. The model uses encryption techniques like AES and Triple DES to encrypt user data before storing it in the cloud. The encrypted data is then divided into blocks that are distributed across different cloud, fog, and local storage locations. This prevents data leakage even if some blocks are lost or accessed. Computational intelligence paradigms help optimize the distribution of data blocks for efficiency and security. The model aims to provide stronger privacy protection compared to traditional cloud storage security methods.
Attribute-Based Encryption for Access of Secured Data in Cloud StorageIJSRD
This document summarizes an article about attribute-based encryption for securing data access in cloud storage. It discusses how attribute-based encryption (ABE) can allow users to encrypt data in the cloud in a way that only authorized users who match certain attributes can decrypt and access the data. The document provides background on ABE and homomorphic encryption, which allows computations on encrypted data. It proposes a system using partial homomorphic encryption with RSA and user-generated keys to provide security while allowing data operations without decryption. Evaluation results show the proposed approach provides faster encryption times and less overhead compared to traditional methods.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

KEY-AGGREGATE CRYPTOSYSTEM FOR SCALABLE DATA SHARING IN CLOUD STORAGE ABSTRACT Data sharing is an important functionality in cloud storage. In this article, we show how to securely, efficiently, and flexibly share data with others in cloud storage. We describe new public-key cryptosystems which produce constant-size ciphertexts such that efficient delegation of decryption rights for any set of ciphertexts are possible. The novelty is that one can aggregate any set of secret keys and make them as compact as a single key, but encompassing the power of all the keys being aggregated. In other words, the secret key holder can release a constant-size aggregate key for flexible choices of ciphertext set in cloud storage, but the other encrypted files outside the set remain confidential. This compact aggregate key can be conveniently sent to others or be stored in a smart card with very limited secure storage. We provide formal security analysis of our schemes in the standard model. We also describe other application of our schemes. In particular, our schemes give the first public-key patient-controlled encryption for flexible hierarchy, which was yet to be known. Existing System There exist several expressive ABE schemes where the decryption algorithm only requires a constant number of pairing computations. Recently, Green et al. proposed a remedy to this problem by introducing the notion of ABE with outsourced decryption, which largely eliminates the decryption overhead for users. Based on the existing ABE schemes, Green et al. also presented concrete ABE schemes with outsourced decryption.
In these existing schemes, a user provides an untrusted server, say a proxy operated by a cloud service provider, with a transformation key TK that allows the latter to translate any ABE ciphertext CT satisfied by that user’s attributes or access policy into a simple ciphertext CT’, and it only incurs a small overhead for the user to recover the plaintext from the transformed ciphertext CT’. The security property of the ABE scheme with outsourced decryption guarantees that an adversary (including the malicious cloud server) be not able to learn anything about the encrypted message; however, the scheme provides no guarantee on the correctness of the

transformation done by the cloud server. In the cloud computing setting, cloud service providers may have strong financial incentives to return incorrect answers, if such answers require less work and are unlikely to be detected by users. Proposed System: We considered the verifiability of the cloud’s transformation and provided a method to check the correctness of the transformation. However, the we did not formally define verifiability. But it is not feasible to construct ABE schemes with verifiable outsourced decryption following the model defined in the existing. Moreover, the method proposed in existing relies on random oracles (RO). Unfortunately, the RO model is heuristic, and a proof of security in the RO model does not directly imply anything about the security of an ABE scheme in the real world. It is well known that there exist cryptographic schemes which are secure in the RO model but are inherently insecure when the RO is instantiated with any real hash function. In this thesis work, firstly modify the original model of ABE with outsourced decryption in the existing to allow for verifiability of the transformations. After describing the formal definition of verifiability, we propose a new ABE model and based on this new model construct a concrete ABE scheme with verifiable outsourced decryption. Our scheme does not rely on random oracles. In this paper we only focus on CP-ABE with verifiable outsourced decryption. The same approach applies to KP-ABE with verifiable outsourced decryption. To assess the performance of our ABE scheme with verifiable outsourced decryption, we implement the CP-ABE scheme with verifiable outsourced decryption and conduct experiments on both an ARM-based mobile device and an Intel-core personal computer to model a mobile user and a proxy, respectively. Problem Statement One of the main efficiency drawbacks of the most existing ABE schemes is that decryption is expensive for resource-limited devices due to pairing operations, and the number of pairing operations required to decrypt a ciphertext grows with the complexity of the access policy.

The above observation motivates us to study ABE with verifiable outsourced
decryption in this thesis work. Here emphasized that an ABE scheme with secure outsourced
decryption does not necessarily guarantee verifiability (i.e., correctness of the transformation
done by the cloud server)

2 ENCRYPT PHASE
Encrypt(PK,M, A). The encryption algorithm takes as input the public parameters PK, a
message M, and an access structure A over the universe of attributes. The algorithm will encrypt
M and produce a ciphertext CT such that only a user that possesses a set of attributes that
satisfies the access structure will be able to decrypt the message. We will assume that the
ciphertext implicitly contains A.
3 KEY GEN PHASE
Key Generation(MK,S). The key generation algorithm takes as input the master key MK
and a set of attributes S that describe the key. It outputs a private key SK
4 DECRYPT PHASE
Decrypt(PK, CT, SK). The decryption algorithm takes as input the public parameters PK,
a ciphertext CT, which contains an access policy A, and a privatekey SK, which is a private key
for a set S of attributes. If the set S of attributes satisfies the access structure A then the algorithm
will decrypt the ciphertext and
return a message M.

CONCLUSION
How to protect users’ data privacy is a central question of cloud storage. With more mathematical tools, cryptographic schemes are getting more versatile and often involve multiple keys for a single application. In this article, we consider how to “compress” secret keys in public-key cryptosystems which support delegation of secret keys for different ciphertext classes in cloud storage. No matter which one among the power set of classes, the delegatee can always
