Components are used in Jira projects to break projects into smaller subsections like features, teams, or modules. Components add structure and allow generating reports and statistics. Screens define how issues are displayed and modified in Jira, and are associated with issue operations through screen schemes. Custom fields can be created for each project as needed to track project-specific information. The private Jira instance used by the group offers more flexibility to define custom screens and fields for projects compared to a central Jira instance.

Easier and faster Plone theming with Deliverance and xdvJazkarta, Inc.
One of the first things that people want to do with their Plone site is customize the look-n-feel. This usually requires making a Plone theme product which is an involved process and demands someone with programming skills. The process to take an existing website design and implement it in Plone requires a good knowledge of Plone theming engine, and usually the ones most skilled to create the design are the least skilled to implement it in Plone.
But what if you could make your Plone look like any website design knowing only basic HTML/CSS skills? Well, there is a tool available that lets you do just that. Deliverance is a middleware service that sits in between your Plone site and your website design. The website design template can be any arbitrary HTML/CSS - there's nothing Plone specific about it. This talk will give clear examples of how to get started using Deliverance to cut down your Plone theming from days to hours.

Kendis boards supports 2 levels at each board. You can label the parent and child items as
you like
• Parent Item
• It’s pre-filled as “Feature”.
• It’s only a label and can be changed later
• No relation to actual JIRA Item type

• Child Item
• It’s pre-filled as “Story”.
• Edit as you like, e.g., “Team Story”

them like JIRA projects, as linking between Teams and JIRA projects is done later.

• Prefix: Max 5 chars team prefix>
• Color: Select different color for each team

• Dates: Sprint start and end dates, these are optional, however it’s good to set them as they will appear on the
board.

9. How it works?
16
To get your features into Kendis from JIRA you should consider following
• Go to JIRA and create a filter with all of your features that you want to get at Kendis
• Ensure the filters privacy setting is “Any logged in User” or your relevant group
• Ensure the filter is marked as “Favorite” at JIRA
• Click on “Sync to JIRA” and you will be able to define the JIRA settings
• Important Note
• Filter should only contain the parent items like “Features”, e.g., if your features are Epics in JIRA then only include the Epics
in the filter.
• Connected stories to your features will be fetched automatically
• You can use multiple filters at Kendis to get features.
17. Kendis

• Go to Settings from top right corner and select “Edit
Board Settings”

open it in JIRA.

(child items) like stories.
• If your features are Epics, then choose “Epic Link”, if you are using
