This paper presents a control strategy for a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) to manage unbalanced voltage sags associated with wind turbines. It discusses the implementation of a back-to-back converter and a high-level controller to maintain stable torque and DC bus voltage while addressing the challenges of power quality and reliability in renewable energy integration. The proposed technique, validated through simulations, shows significant improvements in torque control and reduction of DC voltage oscillations compared to traditional methods.
