2. Edited Image 1
Here I put a new layer on and made it
blurred it to create a dreamy effect then I
unblurred her body but left the feathers
blurred and used a different brush to help
the feather edges blend in. I have also
removed blemishes on her face and
body/skin. I also whitened her teeth and
made her hair more neat by blurring
uneven bits into the background. I
planned this to enhance it as the main
image on the front cover.
3. Edited Image 2
For this I removed a lot of her
freckles and open pores with the
spot healing tool and whitened her
teeth. I also neatened her her hair.
This will be one of the inset images
in the article and I didn’t want to
‘overedit’.
4. Edited Image 3
I made the background more
blurry making Georgia who is the
victim stand out more. I have also
made her skin look more clear. I
also cropped it. This is another
inset image and I think I’ve made
it a better photo for this purpose
by making her stand out in this
way.
5. Edited Image 4
I mostly cleaned up the skin using
the spot healing tools. I’d already
taken the photography with a low
f-stop to focus on the models’
plain of focus.
6. Edited Image 5
I have cleared up both their
skins and tried to make it look
more natural by changing the
contrast and brightness – the
photograph was too dark and
darker than some of the other
images it was going to go
alongside so by making it
similar I have improved it for
my magazine.
