Karma Setu is our tribute to the millions of Karmis (work force of
unorganized sector) who have been working imperceptibly from
time immemorial to make our lives seamless. Pandemic has
brought their lives and resources to an utter stand still. So now it
is our turn to support them to make their life sustainable.

Karma Setu is an non-profit initiative endeavoring to build a simple, easily operated online
employment exchange platform in the form of mobile application where we onboard
across three categories:
* Labors - Especially from unorganized sectors (Potential employees)

* Karma Sathis - People who would help getting them on the platform.
Karma Setu is the bridge to the gaping missing link between unorganized workers and
recruiters of unorganized workers.

organized/unorganized sector and improve livelihood opportunities and
income.”
Mission
The Karma Setu mission is to improve employability and livelihood
opportunities of the organized and unorganized sector through sustainable
intervention with skill certification, skill upgradation, employability and
entrepreneurship.

5. Karma Saathi - Our Prime Pivot
* Karma Saathi is a self-motivated volunteer at Karma Setu who will
facilitate the labors to register themselves at Karma Setu Application
* Rural or urban based individuals/Students/Social
entrepreneurs/government or private employees who want to utilize their
network and some time for this cause.
* People who has connections with rural/urban workforce.
* NGOs/CSEs, especially those present in remote far flung fringes, who
wants to leverage the employment opportunities of KarmaSetu for the rural
youth.

6. Karma Saathi - Karma Points
* Karma Saathi earns Karma points for registering the work
force on Karma Setu and helping us to bridge the gap between
need and opportunity.
* These Karma Points may be in form of various benefits such
as educational benefit, health benefit etc
* Karma saathi may redeem the Karma points or donate it
towards the cause.

* We have designed an easy to use, intuitive application where employees,
employers, and Karma Sathis can seamlessly function through the website
* Separate login pages for employees and Karma Sathis to operate in.
* Easy to find job listings, intuitive registering experience for people getting
onboard.
* Workers and find job opening and apply thereby.

9. Karma Setu Employers
* Owners of production or service oriented enterprises can register with
Karma Setu to find workers relevant to their requirement thereby saving
time, resources and also expediting the labor engagement process.
* Access to location based information thereby reducing the displacement
cost and reducing chances of attrition.
* Karma Setu facilitates mapping of employers with certified labors with
certification of credibility being duly done by local government authorities of
the laborers’ location.

* Skilled and unskilled workers can register in Karma Setu to find
relevant employability information based on their work experience.
* They choose/opt for movement for the aspired employment rather
than distress migration thereby reducing undesired displacements and
quitting of job.
