Kanye West moved to New York in 2001 believing he couldn't pursue his music career in Chicago. He was hired by Jay-Z to produce his album The Blueprint, which sold over 420,000 copies in its first week. West then signed with Roc-A-Fella Records in 2002, Jay-Z's label, and began recording in the studio. For his Yeezus tour, fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela created outfits for Kanye that aligned with his vision for the music and tour. Kanye keeps the funding for his tours secret but record labels have funded portions in the past. He wants funding to align with his views and goals.

But he also likes to include designs when it

Margielia designed a number of outfits for
Kanye as he liked the vision of the tour and
the music Kanye was promoting.

4. The funding for Kanye's tours is kept
quite secretly. In the past as well
Kanye has needed funding for his
clothing range and been unable to be
funding him leading him to debts. But
his record labels in the past have
funded a good percentage or the tour.
He is quite precise on what he allows
to fund his tour as he likes to focus on
whether they promote his views and
whether they have the same targets.

5.  Kanye finds his fans extremely important
as he wants to be able to make a change
with his music, clothes.
 He finds it important to connect to fans
and one of his targets is to make a
difference.
 Another way Kanye encourages his fan to
be would be different and unique. Do
what is best for you not to fit in and
please other people which fans like as he
accepts everyone.

 “George Bush doesn't care about black
people.”
 “Nothing in life is promised except death.”
 His fans know that Kanye is extremely bold
and likes to voice his opinion even if people
wouldn’t agree with him. They often
encourage him as it shows he is an
independent artist doing what he believe is
correct.
