My role at Speedy Asset Services is a Credit Controller.
I was part of a 44 strong team with the responsibility of 3,600 + - accounts personally with
an average of £ 500 per account. I had a monthly target of approx 1.2 million which I
achieved 100% each month and over achieved repeatedly. I used using Axapta 12 and
Onguard systems for the credit control functions. I collected cash by phone calls and letters
until legal stage. In my 12 months in this position I achieved and in some cases over
achieved my cash targets.

Corporate Procurement Manager / Credit ControllerDuties:
I joined Nuvia as Credit Controller reporting to the Financial Director. I was responsible for
the complete credit control function for a ledger of approx 350 live accounts with an
average monthly value of + - £8 million receiving a monthly pre-determined target starting
with daily online banking establishing incoming monies, posting and allocation of cash to the
Agresso Financial System, telephone chasing, debtors letters, production of monthly
statements reconciliation of debtors ledger, weekly meetings, setting up new accounts
credit limits, risk assessments, meetings with the FD, preparation of summons for court and
meetings with the Company Solicitor when necessary.
In 2008 I was offered the opportunity to join the Procurement team where I was responsible
for the Company fleet which entailed dealing with manufacturers directly obtaining and
negotiating discount structures and terms production of framework agreements and
building relationships with dealers.
I was responsible for Insurances, Travel, PPE, Hire Cars, Company mobile devices, Health and
Safety Building Management Reception Management with 4 staff and any other Corporate
related issues. I have recently been made redundant from this position.

Credit Manager Duties:
This was a managerial role with 5 reporting staff - I was responsible for the daily collections
for the team along with the difficult accounts which I managed, giving daily receipts and
allocation reports to the team showing their individual collections. Sun Uk Ltd was a key
supplier to both private and public care homes, with approximately 600/700 live accounts
with a value of approx £350,000.00 per month. I was responsible for all credit control
functions including debtors letters, monthly statements, credit limits and risk assessments,
quarterly account meetings with our key customers around the country and monthly
meetings with the Finance Manager. I left this position as I felt capable of new challenges.
