Summary Statement
I'm a strong, dedicated and professional sales executive with over 15 years experience in the "General
Insurance" and, more recently, "Life Insurance" industries.
I've gained valuable sales expertise in the highly competitive UK markets and in Australia, having
worked for both smaller "boutique" insurance firms and large British financial institution alike.
During my time at my last company (Liverpool Victoria) I helped to establish Coutts Bank (part of the
RBS and the chosen bank of the Queen) as a viable account, facilitated in the nurturing and growth of
one of the largest mortgage broker networks in the UK from a 0% market share to c25%, and was
instrumental in increasing new business flow for the UK's most recognised life protection broker,
Lifesearch, with business increasing almost four-fold over 2-3 years.
I have a proven track record in telephone based account management, thrives under pressure, and was
part of small sales team that placed 2nd across the whole of the UK at the "British Excellence in Sales
and Marketing" awards in 2012.
A keen explorer, I've travelled much of the world, and have recently (in 2014) been lucky enough to
experience the fantastic sights and sounds of Australia, of which I now proudly call home.

Life Protection Snr. Account Manager (Life Protection Specialist)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of new and existing business relationships to deliver quarterly
and annual sales and activity targets (KPI's).
Personally, I managed the "London and South East account" both as an individual and in
tandem with a colleague, equating to approx. 70 firms and c500 life insurance writers (e.g.
financial advisers and mortgage brokers).
To identify and develop good quality, high producing accounts, which included Independent
Financial Advisers, mortgage brokers, estate agencies, life intermediaries and banks.
Managing the relationship for Liverpool Victoria's blue chip accounts, such as those mentioned
in my opening summary statement.
Responsibility for own and joint (where applicable) business plans to assist in the
contribution to the overall sales plan and market intelligence.
Accomplishments:
Achieved 120% to overall annual sales target in 2011, and 115% in 2012.
Helped to grow the Lifesearch (UK's largest tele-sales broker) protection business from 5%
market share in 2010 to 20% by 2013. This had never been done before.
Increased the gross written premium of my account (panel) by approximately 15-20% year on
year, all new business to my company.
2. Facilitated the launch of the Spicerhaart account in 2010, and helped develop it from £0 to
c£300k of written premium by 2011. Haart is one of the UK's largest Estate Agency Groups.
Successfully communicated across all areas of the intermediary division, including support
staff, field based development managers, underwriters, national account managers and
Directors.
Part of a professional team that placed 2nd across the whole of the UK sales departments for
"Sales Team of the Year" in 2012 at BESMA (British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards ).
