2. Self Concept is an important term for both social psychology and humanism. It is the basic part of
the self-scheme or self-concept, the sense of being separate and distinct from others and the
awareness of the constancy of the self. Self-concept is distinguishable from self-awareness, which
refers to the extent to which self-knowledge is defined, consistent, and currently applicable to one's
attitudes and dispositions. During my recent Culture and Civilisation project where we reenact to
an certain themed. Me
and my team was given
France to reenact to,
which was quite
challenging. During the
whole course of this
project, I believed in
myself that I could
achieve my goals for this
project. My team believed
in me, so I must not let
them down. Once I
believed, there was no stopping me from achieving my goal. “Go big or go home” Iiked I always
said. On performance day, my team and I was quite nervous due to the large crowd in front of us. I
knew that I might flop it cause of my past experience, however this time I was determined not to
get it over my head. During our performance this sentence kept running through my head "I'm
better than I used to be”. Our performance was great, the crowd loved and and most importantly I
enjoyed myself out there.
