 LPU was founded as Lovely Professional University in 2005 by Mr. Ashok Mittal.
 Lovely Professional University has signed with 18 hospitals and centres includes BBC
Heart Care, Pruthi Hospital, Johal Multispecility hospital, Ghai Hospital etc.
 18 medical establishments will provide special discounts on OPD and IPD investigations,
surgery and other services as per their individual agreements with the University.
 Hospital has also offered to organize workshops. Dr. Nitish Garg of Cardinova
Hospital also shared to organize workshops and deliver lectures for the general awareness
of LPU students and staff members.

JOB ANALYSIS
1. Job Description
• The name of the Resident Medical Officer(RMO) is Dr.
Gagandeep and he is working in the HOSPITAL from 1 year.
• His main responsibility is to handle and counsel the patient.
• Other responsibilities are to handle OPD and emergency cases
and if some kind of treatment is not possible in the hospital
then refer to the other outside hospital.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualification:-
MBBS
• For this job (RMO) qualification MBBS is required as well
as experience is also required.
• He has a experience of more than 3 years.
• He was recruited in uni hospital through a placement
consultancy named as Barti Consultancy.
TRAINING NEED ASSESMENT
• A training need assessment helps an organization to
achieve its goals more efficiently.
• According to me, Dr. Gagandeep has required a IN-
HOUSE training because before that he has not
done any training except his internship in MBBS.
2. ASSISTANT NURSE
Job Description:-
• The name of the Assistant nurse is Rajpender and he is working
in the hospital from 6 years.
• His Main Responsibility is only to care the patient as suggested
by the doctor and make understand the patient that at what
time he has take the medicine and what prevention is followed.
• To checkup blood pressure and sugar level.
• To help doctor during operation.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:-
• 12th
• Diploma in Nursing.
He has also a working experience of 6 year along with
the Uni Hospital.
TRAINING NEED ASSESMENT
• According to me, I think that he required a training
for the use of X-Ray machine because he don’t know
that how to operate the X-Ray machine. So HR
manager should provide a technical training in this
field for the assistant nurse.
3. WARD BOY
Job Description:-
• The name of the Ward Boy is Rajesh Narayan Pandey and he is
working in the organization from 6 years .
• Responsible for overall Basic Functioning in the Hospital.
• Responsible for all the task that is assigned by Doctor or
Nurse.
• Drive Ambulance sometimes in emergency when driver is not
available .
• Dressing the patient.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:-
• High School (10th ).
• Skills:- Multitasking, well experienced with Health
Care Industry .
• Training Required:- 6 month training is required
within the Organization to understand the basic
concept of Health Care Industry .
TRAINING NEED ASSESMENT
• According to me, I envisage that sometimes Doctor
or Nurse assign the task to the ward boy which is
related to computer work. So, he required a training
in which basic knowledge of computer is provide to
him.
• He is also able to understand English language
because in Uni hospital some of the patient came
who don’t understand Hindi . So, he required a
training for his communication skills.
RECRUITMENT SOURCES
• INTERNAL SOURCES: When a vacancy arises in the
organization and employees who are already on the pay-
roll are given opportunity for the same. Internal sources
include promotion, transfer and in certain cases demotion.
• EXTERNAL SOURCES: External sources include
advertisement, employment exchanges, schools, colleges
and universities, placement agencies recommendation of
existing employees, factory gates, and labor unions, etc.
