5. Kindergarten technology
• No computers at schools.
• I had a 286 computer that used DOS
as its OS at home. But, I used it only
for playing games, not for educational
purposes at all.
• I had a color television at home, but
schools were not equipped with it yet.

6. High school technology
• There was a librar y with a set of
enough computers for one class, which
we occasionally visited to work with
the computers.
• Scientific and graphic calculators were
available for math and science classes
as well.

7. College technology
• i>Clicker was used in some of the
classes.
• Most of the students had smartphones
or tablet PCs.
• Computer labs were available.
• Most of the assignments were required
to be turned in via online.

9. A technology I want to use in
my classroom
• I teach Korean language to the second
generation of Korean immigrants at
Korean Cultural School and there are
no computers at all. So, I just want
one computer lab equipped with
microphones and speakers for
language learning.
