The document describes the author's experiences with educational technology over time from kindergarten through their current college education and future goals. When the author was in kindergarten in the early 1990s, they used old Macintosh computers and saved work on floppy disks or recorded videos on VHS tapes. In high school in the early 2000s, there were a few classroom computers and teachers could check out laptops, while classrooms had televisions and VCRs. Now in college, most lectures use projectors, students submit work online, and flash drives are commonly used. The author hopes to use technology like electronic whiteboards and class sets of iPads in their future elementary classroom to enhance learning.

A Vivid Technology Learning Experience Children and parents are able to access Kidbiz to enforce their learning from the classroom Students can use Kidbiz for anything like reading, writing, typing, science, etc. The computer differentiates the students by allowing them to work at their individual performance level

9. A technology I want to use in my classroom… I would like to use an electronic whiteboard I would like all students to have a iPad so each student can have access to the internet in their palms

10. My Vision of the Classroom of the Future I would like all assignments submitted electronically through a online site similar to Laulima Most handouts and in-class work will be on this online site

11. A Challenge for Teaching Although technology is a great learning aid, I would like to encourage students to do things the “old school” way meaning understanding concepts/principles and being able to solve problems without easily getting answers off of the internet
