2. ● All living things are formed of cells
and have three vital fuctions:
nutrition, reproduction and
interaction.
● The simple living things are
single-cells organisms. All the vital
fuctions happen in their one cell.
● In multicellular organisms, cells
group together to from:
tissues, organs and systems.
3. ●
NUTRITION
It includes all the actions that
living things do to get food and
absorb the nutrients they need.
Living things get the energy they
need to function from food.
Plants are multicellular
organisms that produce their
own food.
4. ● REPRODUCTION
It is the process by
which living things
reprodce and create
similar living beings
(sexual reproduction )
or identical (asexual
reproduction).
5. ● INTERACTION
Living things interact with and
react to what is happening
around them.They detect and
react to changes in their
environment in order to
survive .These changes are
called stimuli.
● Plants do not move from
place to place but they react
to changes around them.
6. ● CELLS
All living things are
made of very small
components called
cells. We can only
see them using a
microscope.
All cells have the
same cell structure,
membrane,
cytoplasm and
nucleus.
