The digipak features photos of Beyoncé looking glamorous throughout. On the front cover, her name is prominently displayed in a swirly font against a green and blue background. Inside the digipak, the first panel features a large photo of Beyoncé, while the second panel thanks fans and promotes her hit albums. Subsequent panels continue the theme of gold-colored photos of Beyoncé. The discs identify Beyoncé and the album, with one disc noted as a video album. Font and color choices are consistent to maintain the cohesive theme throughout the digipak.
This is a research document on all the different kind of digipaks. I did this to give me a rough idea on what to do for my digipak when I was in the planning stage of making one. These different albums helped me out especially as they are under the same genre as the one I am producing so it was good for me to go off digipaks that are in the same genre.

1. Digipak Analysis – Beyonce:
Album Front Cover:
On the front cover there
is a photo of the artist.
She looks very glam and
has eye connection.
The artists name is clearly on
the front cover of the album.
It is in a white colour which
stands out against the green
and blue background. It is
also in a swirly urban/edgy
font. This is very genre
appropriate.
The name of the album is also on the front
cover. This is also white colour, again to stand
out. This is slightly smaller than the artists name
but it is still there and visible.
Inside The Pak:
Panel One:
Large image of the artist.
To keep with the theme of
the pak and having lots of
images of the artist
looking very glam.
Photos of the hit albums
to promote herself.
Panel Two:
Writing inside the pak
is very common it is
often a thank you
from the artist to the
fans and there record
label. The white font
occurs again here and
this works really well
as it stands out
against the blacck
background.
In the background we can see
another photo of the artist. It looks
like it is in a gold colour. On the
previous panel there was some gold
behind her in one of the images.
This is to keep with a gold theme on
the inner panels.
On the disc is the artists name
again. It is in that white colour
and swirly font again. To keep
the theme throughout the pak.
2. Panel Three:
Another photo of the
artist in the background.
Again this is in a
yellow/gold colour.
Again there is the artists
name and the album name, it
also tells us that this disc is a
video album. This is the kind
of extra that you would
receive in a digipak.
The font is the same as on the
front of the album. However
this time it is in black to
make it stand out against the
light disc.
The Back Cover:
Photo of the artist again looking very
glam! However this time she does not
have a seductive eye contact.
There is also the song list
which is a typical
convention of a CD and
digipak. This album has two
because there is two discs in
this particular pak.
In the bottom right corner
there is the bar code. A
typical convention again.
