Personal Statement
I am an organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic educator, with a passion for supporting others with
their development and learning. Technology is a passion of mine and I excel in its incorporation into
training to enhance the learning experience. Feedback from my training has recognised I have an ability
to inspire excellence in others to achieve outstanding results. On numerous occasions I have proven to
work well under pressure to enable all learners to meet and exceed expected targets. I am professional,
proactive and hard working with a commitment to personal development to enhance and improve the
learners’ experience.
I would now like to utilise the skills and experience gained from my nine years in Education and
undertake a new challenge for a well-established company.

Since working at St Luke’s I have gained experience in a variety of roles including teacher, leader,
teaching assistant and office administration. My duties include:
 Planning and delivering outstanding teaching.
 A member of the school leadership team.
 Reporting key performance indicators and creating action plans.
 Handling meetings and managing clients.
 Updating school website.
 Dealing with difficult situations on a day-to-day basis.
 Creating and developing a new computing curriculum.
 Developing and implementing training schemes for all staff and governors.
 Providing training using various methods such as eBooks and hands on support.

Whilst working for Yorkshire Bank, I was one of the youngest supervisors; this demonstrates my passion
for self-development and my ability to learn new skills quickly. I take a professional and proactive
approach to my work and constantly strive to find efficiencies in all I do. My duties included:

 Dealing with difficult situations
 Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone.
 Checking the accuracy of colleagues’ work.
 Responsible for vital administrative tasks to ensure adherence to financial regulations and ethical
ethos.

 Involvement in nationwide role out of new IT systems, including developing training schemes, multi
branch staff training and contribution and role in a staff training DVD which was used throughout the
company. The role was recognised at an annual awards evening in Glasgow.
