Personal Statement
For the past13 years I have been working as a Learning Services Technician for a busy further education
collegein north London. I have enjoyed workingat the college and feel I have provided a high level of
customer servicethroughout my time. I have enjoyed working with all staff and ensuringtheir AV/printing
requests have been met. My ability to work independently, deal with requests for servicewhileat the same
time ensuringall jobs arecompleted to a high level is an important set of skillsI feel I can provide to an
organisation. I havealways had an interestin developing my career further in the area of IT Support. I have
enjoyed learningaboutthe different IT/networked systems employed in the college and have found the use of
the different systems a welcome challenge. I likeworking in a team and get a lotof job satisfaction when
dealingwith different issues and resolvingthem thus ensuringa member of staff is happy and ableto
complete their work successfully. I feel I am an adaptableperson and enjoy working with different people,
which has been the caseat Uxbridge College over the years. In addition to this ,I am a dependable individual
and pride myself on providingthe best quality of work I possibly can. If I was provided with the opportunity to
work in the area of IT supportcoupled with the years of experience I have in my previous job,I feel I would be
