Orange is the first major multinational company to 
create a smart mobility division in France 
Since 2011, the Facilities & Mobility Management division takes care 
about: 
physical mobility: Fleet and Travel 
virtual mobility: Videoconferencing 
mobility cost management

Our key objectives: 
proposing business travel solutions to better meet staff needs 
encouraging implementation of the company policy for sustainable development 
continuing cost optimization 
promoting these services with a focus on security, safety and comfort in the organization 
of exchanges among staff members 
actively demonstrating that Orange has established a position in innovative mobility 
management with immediate and long term solutions

fields of Fleet, Travel and Videoconferencing solutions.

 Secure driving training launched in 2003 
 Eco driving items added from 2010 
 1 500 trainees in 2011: Great!! 
But there are 22 000 cars in our fleet, so 
roughly we are 30 000 drivers 
 a 20-year training cycle: Not so great!! 
 Fuel represents 25 % of our costs 
 Orange is committed to reducing its CO2 
emissions by 20 % in 2020 (2006 base) 
 Room to improve our claim rate…. 
Why ?

 Launched November 2012 (not optimal, 
regarding training budget consumption) 
 At one’s own will, not mandatory for “bad 
drivers” 
 Nearly 5 000 trainees (35 000 hours) within 
22 months 
 97 % of the trainees rated the training 
essential or very important: 
 “essential” rating is higher when 
personally vs professionally speaking 
 Fuel consumption reduced by 8 % 
 Claim rate: responsibility ratio decreased 
by 3 points

Orange is the first major multinational company to create a smart mobility division in France Since 2011, the Facilities & Mobility Management division takes care about: physical mobility: Fleet and Travel virtual mobility: Videoconferencing mobility cost management 4 Our key objectives: proposing business travel solutions to better meet staff needs encouraging implementation of the company policy for sustainable development continuing cost optimization promoting these services with a focus on security, safety and comfort in the organization of exchanges among staff members actively demonstrating that Orange has established a position in innovative mobility management with immediate and long term solutions

But there are 22 000 cars in our fleet, so roughly we are 30 000 drivers  a 20-year training cycle: Not so great!!  Fuel represents 25 % of our costs  Orange is committed to reducing its CO2 emissions by 20 % in 2020 (2006 base)  Room to improve our claim rate…. Why ?
  • 11. 11 eco driving programme  Launched November 2012 (not optimal, regarding training budget consumption)  At one’s own will, not mandatory for “bad drivers”  Nearly 5 000 trainees (35 000 hours) within 22 months  97 % of the trainees rated the training essential or very important:  “essential” rating is higher when personally vs professionally speaking  Fuel consumption reduced by 8 %  Claim rate: responsibility ratio decreased by 3 points Results
