There are numerous reasons why I choose to enroll in this program which
is listed below:
•Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resource Management is a program that fits my
professional profile as I have more than five years of experience working as a talent acquisition
specialist in the corporate industry.
•During my professional experience, I learned to interact with a diverse group of people,
communicating and understanding their professional requirements which offered me a great
opportunity to socialize.
•Human resource is a profession that consistently ranks high on the list of best careers and offers
a variety of job functions working within an organization, for instance, compensation and
benefits; employee training and development; recruitment, hiring and placement (Michigan

HR sector offers flexibility to work remotely and has career growth as it
provides a handsome salary package and benefits.

There are two Human Resources Roles that appeals to me:
Talent Acquisition Specialist: A Talent Acquisition Specialist is
responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and
onboarding employees in a company.
HR Generalist: An HR generalist is a person with a broad range of
responsibilities instead of a specialized line of work. The HR generalist
thus covers most of the HR functions, including hiring, compensation
and benefits, HR administration, and other tasks.

The national average salary for a Talent Acquisition

Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for
sourcing, screening and recommending applicants for ATS
positions in addition to onboarding new hires.
• Source potential candidates through social platforms
(i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook) and professional networks
(Indeed, Monster)
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including
screening calls, assessments and in-person
interviews.
• Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the
necessary paperwork is completed promptly and
accurately.
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and
contact details, using Applicant Tracking System.
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and
potential candidates
10. Education & Experience
• Hands-on experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar
role
• Familiarity working with social media, resume databases and
professional networks.
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment process using
various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
