Frequent experiences of social rejectionhave been linked with lasting somatic, psychosomatic, and
internalizing disorders (Wolke Lereya, 2015), such as depression and anxiety (Rigby, 2000; as
cited in Masten et al., 2009). Educators and researchers alike have attempted to intervene in
hopes of reducing antisocial behaviors like bullying, a form of social rejection. In this paper, I
will (1) go over what adolescence is and broad developmental changes during this period; (2)
affective causes of social rejection; (3) some effects of social rejection during adolescence; and
lastly (4) some concluding statements and future directions.

According to Crone and Dahl (2011), adolescence is a transition phase between childhood and

common ancestor monkey from which the animals and human beings were descended. He

Simulation of DDoS Attacks:
Demonstration of different types of DDoS attacks in a simulated virtual environment. We have
chosen examples from each type of DDoS attack namely volume based attacks (UDP flood, TCP
flood, ICMP flood), protocol based attacks (SYN flood) and application level attacks (HTTP). We
used network stress testing tools like Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC), Hping3 to simulate these
DDos attacks from multiple virtual machines. In addition, we have portrayed ways to detect these
attacks.
Materials and Methods:
We used VMware to create multiple virtualized (Macintosh) machines to create a zombie network.
We targeted a single host from all these machines using tools like LOIC and Hping3. We primarily
used Wireshark to detect all the attacks.

They conceal this humiliation of poverty by giving a false illusion of who they are to their
neighbors. The Colonel believes that starvation is necessary as long as they are honorable to the

overcome a drinking problem. In the short story, there is no personal detail of the narrator. The

The term Baroque is derived from the Portuguese barroco which is used to describe an irregularly shaped pearl. The word was synonymous with absurd, irregular, and extravagant before being applied to this time period of music (Anderson 7). I decided to research this time period because after listening to music from a wide range of time periods, I found the music of the Baroqueperiod to be most appealing. Therefore, I thought it worthy to study the time period that was of the most interest to me. There is something about the sound of the primitive orchestra, the harpsichord, and the solo concertos found within this time period that just are extremely pleasing to listen too. We have chosen examples from each type of DDoS attack namely volume based attacks (UDP flood, TCP flood, ICMP flood), protocol based attacks (SYN flood) and application level attacks (HTTP). We used network stress testing tools like Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC), Hping3 to simulate these DDos attacks from multiple virtual machines. In addition, we have portrayed ways to detect these attacks. Materials and Methods: We used VMware to create multiple virtualized (Macintosh) machines to create a zombie network. We targeted a single host from all these machines using tools like LOIC and Hping3. We primarily used Wireshark to detect all the attacks.
