The document discusses what Paradise (Jannah) will be like. It describes Paradise as a great reward from God for those who obeyed His commands. In Paradise, people will enjoy whatever they want and have all their desires fulfilled. The document also suggests that believers will be reunited with loved ones and friends in Paradise, regardless of their individual ranks, as a bounty from God. It provides several Quranic verses to support this description of Paradise.
Jahannam
Islam teaches that Hell is a real place prepared by God for those who do not believe in Him, rebel against His laws, and reject His messengers.
"Our Lord! Surely, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed You have disgraced him, and never will the wrongdoers find any helpers."
(Quran 3:192)
Levels of Jahannam
“To (Hell) are seven gates, for each of those gates is a special class (of sinners) assigned.” (Quran15:43)
Food & Drinks
"Indeed, the tree of zaqqum is food for the sinful, like murky oil, it boils within bellies, like the boiling of scalding water." (Quran 44:43-46)
"If a drop from zaqqum were to land in this world, the people of earth and all their means of sustenance would rot. So how must it be for one who must eat it?"
(Tirmidhi)
"They will be given to drink boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)."
(Quran 47:15)
Punishments of Hell
The punishments of Hell will vary in degree. The torment of some levels of Hell will be greater than others. People will be put in a level according to their deeds. The Prophet spoke of the lightest punishment in Hell :
"The person who will receive the least punishment among the people of Hell on the Day Resurrection will be a man, a smoldering ember will be placed under the arch of his foot. His brains will boil because of it.“(Saheeh Bukhari)
This person will think no one else is being punished more severely than himself, even though he will be the one receiving the lightest punishment. (Saheeh Muslim)

The Meaning of the Qur'an is a fresh English rendering of Tafhim-ul-Qur’an, Maulana Syed Abu Ala Moududi’s monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’an and a selection of his commentary. The translator has undertaken the delicate and difficult task of rendering this work in English under the guidance of the Maulana himself. Here is a work with a difference, by a dedicated scholar of an entirely different sort. An immense wealth of profound understanding of the Qur’an is here, a vast treasure of knowledge and deep insight, and a valuable exposition of some social, political, economic and legal teachings of the Qur’an.
This comprehensive Tafsir answers contemporary questions, and makes the Qur’an fully relevant to the concerns of day, yet it loses nothing of its timelessness nor sacrifices any of the traditional understanding. It demonstrates the unity and coherence of the Qur’an by centring everything on its message, like gems hung on a single string.
This Tafsir is particularly suitable for Muslims with no direct access to the Arabic original.

4. Indeed, Paradise is the great reward prepared by Allah to those dutiful people who did their best to conform to His commands and to avoid His prohibition. It is the prize for those winners who understood the truth of this world and realized how to make use of every minute and every second to draw nearer to Allah and to increase their record of good deeds. Ο Παράδεισος είναι μιά ανταμοιβή που ο ΑΛΛΑΧ, έχει προετοιμάσει γι άυτούς που T ον υπακούουν και ακολουθούν τις Εντολές Του
5. For such successful people, Allah has prepared every pleasure in Paradise . They enjoy in Paradise whatever they wish and like. They are showered with Allah’s blessings and favors. All their wishes are fulfilled, all their desires are met, and all their requests are granted .
6. Allah says:( Whoso obeyeth Allah and the Messenger, they are with those unto whom Allah hath shown favour, of the Prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the righteous. The best of company are they! Such is the bounty of Allah, and Allah sufficeth as knower )(An-Nisaa’ 4:69-70).

( Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation): Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home! )(Ar-Ra`d 13:23-24)
9. ( And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of naught of their (life’s) work. Every man is responsible for that which he hath earned)(At-Tur 52:21).

11. Further, a man said to the Prophet, “O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who loves some people but cannot catch up with their good deeds?” Allah’s Messenger said,“One will be with those whom he loves.”

13. The above texts prove that once a believer is admitted to Paradise, he will not be deprived of anything he desires, whether food, drink, material pleasures, and whatsoever. Actually this involves meeting friends and loved ones, as well as bringing the members of the family together. It does not matter whether such friends are of the same rank in Paradise or not. In fact, the means of communication and transportation are available and accessible in Paradise by Allah’s will.
