The Scottish Transport Emissions Partnership (STEP) aims to improve Scotland's urban air quality through partnership working and collaboration with stakeholders. It is chaired by Janice Milne from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. STEP has 31 members representing government agencies, local authorities, transport organizations, and health groups. The Share the Road Cycling Coalition is a provincial advocacy organization that has been working since 2008 to enhance access and safety for cyclists in Ontario. It advocates for improved cycling infrastructure and educates the public on the value of cycling. The Coalition hosts events like the annual Ontario Bike Summit to advance the provincial government's #CycleON action plan and move cycling initiatives forward. Recent polling shows over half of Ontario residents want to cycle more, and over two-thirds support new cycling infrastructure investments.

Tim Lamerton of the Devon Access to Services Project presented data on the economic and social impact of community car schemes in Devon. In 2015-2016, 43 schemes reported providing over 144,000 passenger journeys covering 1.4 million miles with 2,000 volunteer drivers. This level of transportation for health-related and other trips for those with limited options generated over £1.2 million in spending and is estimated to have saved the NHS £2.3 million by enabling healthier and happier access to services. The recognition of their impact through data collection was greatly appreciated by the schemes and helps influence decision makers to support their continued operations.
