HRI has undertaken various green initiatives to make their properties more energy efficient and sustainable, including steam system retrofits, energy audits, high efficiency boiler replacements, and green turnover practices. Monitoring utility usage has helped identify areas for further improvement. HRI aims to continue expanding their green efforts through additional retrofits, tracking savings, inspections, resident education, and promoting best practices.
