I am a motivated, passionate and hardworking individual, a Technical member of the Institution of
Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and I am qualified to both IOSH Managing Safety and NEBOSH
General Certificate level. I always strive to achieve the best possible. I am well organized and I
embrace new challenges with great enthusiasm. As part of my working experiences I have a variety of
disciplined skills and have partaken in numerous projects. My aim is to continue promoting a positive
health and safety culture that’s good for people, but also good for business – strengthening business

SIGNIFICANT WORK EXPERIENCE
2019 to Present – Health and Safety Consultant (Simian Risk Management Limited)
• Responsible for producing new health and safety policy documents, general safety
documentation, reviewing and updating existing health and safety policy documents on an
annual basis.
• Providing health and safety advice to retained clients as required, keeping clients up to date
with current legislation and necessary industry guidance documents.
• Presenting short duration training courses to various clients including Work at Height, Safe
Management of Scaffolding Operations, Management of Temporary Works, Anchor Tie
Testing, Harness Inspection etc.
• Undertaking new client initial audits, annual client reviews and carrying out accident and
incident investigations. Maintaining a relationship with existing and new retained client base.
2017 to 2018 – Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager (SCA Group Limited)
• To undertake site inspections and to coach operatives on correct methods of working
(using industry best practice such as SG4, TG20 & SG6).
• To undertake scaffold inspections to meet the requirements of the Work at Height
Regulations 2005.
• Advises line management and assists with the implementation of new or existing SHEQ-
related legislation, rules and Company standards inclusive of fire prevention, health and
safety awareness training, site inspections of Company and contractor’s sites.
• To complete prevention inspections on a regular basis and ensure records are maintained
• To investigate a range of accidents, near misses to minimise a re-occurrence.
• To develop a monthly SHEQ Communication Strategy for all sites and levels of staff, to
include written information, tool box talks and management briefs.
