 Maintain awareness on HSE regulatory requirements and technical issues, and utilise relevant
information to implement programs, achieve compliance, and minimise risks.
 Manage Issues pertaining to HSE on a daily basis.

procedures and instructions that ensure functionality at work sites.

 Supervising and reviewing the activities of the Sub-contractors HSE personnel whilst providing

 Verifying Permit To Work (PTW) compliance at the different site locations by undertaking and/or
initiating unannounced inspections
 Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports to various levels of Project management related to
the results from site visits, inspections and/or audits with specific recommendations to achieve
continual improvement of HSE performance at Project locations
 Implementing ‘Stop-Work’ HSE interventions for applicable unsafe acts/conditions/work practices.
 Ensuring suitable and sufficient ‘close out’ of ‘Non-Conformances’ initiated by the Consultant.
 Promoting Safe System of Work, Hazard Identification Techniques and related communication
through the implementation of task briefing sessions.
 Ensuring adequate Fire Fighting equipment is provided, maintained and inspected (internal and
3rd Party) on site.
 Maintain and publish Statistical Data on Number of Man Hours lost, IFR etc. on a monthly basis to
interested parties/stakeholders.
 Ensuring the effectiveness of Emergency Response Procedures, by driving comprehensive
periodic practices (Mock Drills).
 Conducting investigation into all types of Incidents (including Near Miss and property damage).
