Store and maintenance logistics coordinator
• Store Room :Designed layout plan for a brand new building, obtained 3 quotations, project managed contractors
for racking system and then itemized location plan and day to day running of the store
• House-keeping: carried out external areas cleaning, reporting of damaged items and any safety issues to relevant
departments. Housekeeping staff would also assist other departments running errands, heavy lifting, laundry room
routines.
• Maintenance Department: Routine and breakdown maintenance throughout the complex. All main breakdowns or
damages were sent out to companies with warranties or subcontractors brought in to make repairs.
• Cleaning Department: Cleaning of the entire arena, internal and externals, including bathrooms, toilets, kitchens
and cafeterias.

• Events Layout Designer: Working alongside other colleagues to design 2D security layouts, fire exit plans, staff

Working for one of the largest Shipping and Logistics companies in the Middle East. I worked with all areas of container
repair from reefer repairs, standard dry unit, and open tops. I was also involved in container conversions and buying and
selling of containers.
 Managed, developed and controlled a work force of 10 men
• Day to day organisation and running of the depot included, checking the site (cleanliness and QHSE Issues),
designating jobs for the day and prioritising tasks.
• While continuing with daily estimates, inspections and container repairs it was my task to improve the site, such
as making material and tooling stores, a covered workshop area, AC cooled staff room, improved depot layout,
and planning a new electric system because the old one kept having faults/power shorts

• I also worked on planning new site areas for proposals to secure new depots by visiting sites, taking photos and
measurements, finding costs from companies for structures, flooring, electrics, water and drainage systems.
Key Achievements
 I also learned about the computer system that they were using in our department and was the main instigator in
changing and improving the Process Map which was approved by an external auditor assisting in the securing of
ISO’s for the company.
 A main part of my job was dealing with and assisting the Quality Health and Safety Department by carrying out site
checks, performing toolbox talks when required, educating staff on safety issues and correcting observations or non-
conformities..
With a small container repair depot we managed to provide a workforce for 2 other departments which were newly started,
the container conversion department and Airport Pallet Repair department supplied us with plenty of work and new
experiences. Learning on the job how to inspect, estimate and repair damaged airport pallets of different types as well as
constructing high quality converted units from standard shipping containers. With the added volume of work control of
stock and supply of material had to be meticulously monitored to ensure that employees had exactly what they needed at
all times to complete their work.
