 Ensure that a culture in which safety is the prime concern and will never be compromised on
site or workplace.
 Endorse the involvement of all staff in improving safety.
 Implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management systems.
 Ensure that all staff have undergone pre-employment medical and have been correctly
inducted prior commencement of work. Exit medicals are completed at and of each project on
all staff.
 Conduct full self-safety audits to evaluate compliance with safety management plans and
systems.
 Liase with Client line and safety management to ensure full understanding and
communication of all safety issues impacting on Client from TTC’s activities and vice versa.
 Ensure that a safety committee is established and at least monthly meetings take place and
correctly minuted. Copies of which are to be sent to the safety co-ordinator.
 Ensure that emergency plan is put into place and communicated.
 Co-ordinate and ensure that all involved personnel prior to commencement of any work all
hazards, risks and environmental aspects and complete risk and environmental assessments
and daily safety task instructions.
 Administer the suggestion scheme as per standard operating procedures is implemented on
site.
 Ensure communication and training of all risk and environmental assessments, safe working
