3. Surah Ikhlas
 The name of this Surah is Ikhlas meaning ‘Purity Of Faith’. Faith in the absolute Unity of Allah is the
foundation of Islam.
 Allah is One, without any hint of plurality. He Has no one to share in His lordship, neither in His essence
or His attributes. He is the only one to whom worship is due, all other beings or things are His creatures
and in no way resemble Him in rank,attribute,work or power in any degree.
 Allah is Eternal and Immortal without beginning or end, not limited by time or place of circumstances.
He is Absolute, not sustained or dependent on any other person or thing whereas all other person
and things are dependent on Him for beginning as well as their continued existence.
 The fact that ALLAH is matchless and unique in every respect beyond the range of human
comprehension or imagination explains why any attempt at depicting Him by means of figures or
symbols must be qualified as blasphemous denial of truth.

4. Surah Fatihah
 This is the opening surah of the Quran and it covers a variety of theme in its text. The primary
theme remain Tauheed which is taught in a number of ways.
 It reminds us that we are not free to do as we please in this world, rather we shall be judged by
ALLAH as He is Malik e Youm ud Deen, i.e master of the Day of Judgement.
 The surah ends by teaching a Dua for guidance from Allah of the ‘straight path’ which is the
path of the Prophet’s and all pious people. It also asks us to invoke HIM to protect us from going
astray…..

5. Surah Yasin
 It has been proposed that Surah Yasin is the "heart of the Qur'an." This comes from the idea that
everything has a heart, and that surah Yasin is the “heart of the Qur’an.” Again, the meaning of
“the heart” has been the basis of much scholarly discussion. The eloquence of this surah is
traditionally regarded as representative of the miraculous nature of the Qur'an.
 There are three main themes of Surah Yasin: Tawhid, the oneness of Allah, Risalah, that
Muhammad is a messenger sent by God to guide His creations through divine revelation, and the
reality of al-aakhirah.
 Surah Yasin then proceeds to tell the tale of the messengers that were sent to warn nonbelievers,
but who were rejected. Although the messengers proclaimed to be legitimate, they were
accused of being ordinary men by the nonbelievers. 36:15-17 They said, 'Truly, we are messengers
to you,' but they answered, 'You are only men like ourselves. The Lord of Mercy has sent nothing;
you are just lying.
