“I believe in Allah, in His angels, in His books, His

decided by Allah, the Almighty and in life after death.

4. Belief in oneness of Allah (tawhid) is the first and main
principle of Islamic Faith.
It mentions Allah’s Superiority as He is the Creator,
Guider, Sustainer, Eternal and Absolute, the First and the
Last.
“praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of
worlds.” (1:2)
Allah is not bound to any limitations. He has no physical
attributes. He is beyond any mind can imagine. He alone
is to be worshipped and no being can share His status.
The sun, moon and the whole universe are proof of His
existence.
A true believer will worship only his Creator; ALLAH and
5. Associating partners with Allah is called Shirk. (Opposite of
tawhid)
Offering prayers to living or dead i.e. Believing that Allah
is not Independent is Shirk.
Shirk is an unpardonable sin:
“Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with
Him” (4:48)
Man has been created by Allah to worship Him. By shirk,
man debases himself.
The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:
“Shirk is the greatest of all sins”
6. • Second in articles of faith.
• Believing them is mandatory
• They are made of light and are many in numbers.
They don’t have free will nor emotions. They follow Allah’s
commands and pray Him throughout. They are inferior to
man. They link Allah with man. They assist man on Allah’s
command and give blessings. They bring down revelation (
Hazrat Jibrael ) to prophets.
• Allah sends His Wrath through angles.
7. • Hazrat Jibrael :

Distribution of rain and sustenance
• Hazrat Izrael :
Angel of death responsible to take souls from body
• Hazrat Israfil :
Blowing trumpets on the Final Day

8. • Books are sent by Allah for guidance of man
• Collected form of revelations is called the revealed Book
• Source of communication with Allah
• Teaches man the way to live life (Code Of Life)
• The Books contain knowledge of all principles and
fundamentals of Islam
• They mention Allah’s Dignity, Mercy, Knowledge and His
Status
• Provide laws for physical world i.e. social, economical,
political etc.
• Came in different times with universal message of Tawhid

10. • Prophet means one who is near to Allah
• A Prophet is always truthful, free of sins, delivers
message of tawhid, mortal
• Allah chose them for people’s guidance through Book
and He always helped apostles
• Allah sent guide to every nation
• First human was first Prophet (Hazrat Adam)
• Holy Prophet ﷺsaid :
“Every prophet who preceded me was sent especially
to his own
people but I have been sent as a Prophet for all
mankind This means that only Prophet
Muhammad ﷺwas sent for all mankind
11. • Holy Quran gives great importance
• After death, man lives in soul form known as Barzakh
• At Day of Resurrection, all dead will rise and receive
rewards of their deeds
• There will be no escape on the Day of Judgment
• Their will be no injustice, tongues and hands will be
witnesses
• Their will be no friends or any relationship
• Heaven and Hell will be experienced by man in physical
forms
• Islam lays stress that this world is an exam during which
it prepares itself for either Heaven or Hell
12. • Destination or Destiny is named Qadr and Decree is
named Qada
• Qadr is fixed while Qada changes timely
• Allah created man as most superior creature
• Man has been granted free will to do as he wishes
• Allah’s knowledge isn’t affected by man’s free will
• Decree is decided daily, weekly and yearly
• Decree can be changed by obeying Allah and worshiping
Him
The Prophetﷺ said :
“A humble prayer (Dua) can even alter your
destinies”
