This document summarizes a survey on group key agreement protocols for securely sharing a secret key among a group. It discusses key challenges in group key agreement when the connectivity graph between users is arbitrary rather than fully connected. It proposes two efficient passively secure protocols - Diffie Hellman Key Agreement and a private coin tossing protocol protected by Diffie Hellman key. It also constructs an actively secure protocol by transforming a passively secure protocol to authenticate messages using digital signatures.
