Predicting the Total turnover of a company in the ever fluctuating Stock market has always proved to be a precarious situation and most certainly a difficult task at hand. Data mining is a
well-known sphere of Computer Science that aims at extracting meaningful information from large databases. However, despite the existence of many algorithms for the purpose of
predicting future trends, their efficiency is questionable as their predictions suffer from a high
error rate. The objective of this paper is to investigate various existing classification algorithms
to predict the turnover of different companies based on the Stock price. The authorized datasetfor predicting the turnover was taken from www.bsc.com and included the stock market valuesof various companies over the past 10 years. The algorithms were investigated using the ‘R’
tool. The feature selection algorithm, Boruta, was run on this dataset to extract the important
and influential features for classification. With these extracted features, the Total Turnover of
the company was predicted using various algorithms like Random Forest, Decision Tree, SVM and Multinomial Regression. This prediction mechanism was implemented to predict the turnover of a company on an everyday basis and hence could help navigate through dubious
stock markets trades. An accuracy rate of 95% was achieved by the above prediction process.
Moreover, the importance of the stock market attributes was established as well.

In this paper, we propose a novel evaluation formula which incorporates 6 indexes into our comprehensive measurement, including precision, recall, root mean square error, training time, sample complexity and practicability, in order to
find algorithms which have high detection rate, low training time, need less training samples and are easy
to use like constructing, understanding and analyzing models. Detailed evaluation process is designed to
get all necessary assessment indicators and 6 kinds of machine learning algorithms are evaluated.
Experimental results illustrate that Logistic Regression shows the best overall performance.

An Architecture for Simplified and Automated Machine Learning IJECEIAES
Recently, machine learning has been adopted by businesses to analyze their vast data in order to make strategic decision. However, knowledge in machine learning and technical skill are usually required to prepare data and perform machine learning tasks. This obstacle prevents smaller businesses with no technical knowledge to utilize machine learning. In this paper, we propose an architecture for simplified and automated machine learning process currently supporting the data classification task. The architecture includes a method for characterizing datasets, which allows for simplifying and automating machine learning model and hyperparameter selection based on historical execution configurations. Users can simply upload their datasets via a web browser, and the system will determine the possible models and their hyperparameter configurations for the users to choose from. The prototype shows the feasibility of the proposed architecture. Although the accuracy is still limited by the small execution history and the cleanliness of the input datasets, the architecture can minimize user involvement in the machine learning process so that non-technical users can perform data classification through a web browser without installing any software.

This presents an optimization problem with multiple objectives, with competing objectives. This paper proposes an algorithm based on Simulated annealing. Simulated Annealing is inspired by the physical annealing process which leads to a gradual movement towards a solution set. This paper proposes to use a variant of this mechanism to solve multi-objective optimization problems in IoT space to come out with a set of solutions which are non dominated from each other.

To find a provider for the IT master plan’s realization, organizations are increasingly using tendering as the mode of awarding contracts. This paper is an improvement of a previous published paper in which AHP method was used. The goals of this work are to make available to members of tenders committee a decision support tool for evaluating tenders of IT master plan’s realization and endow the organizations with effective IT master plans in order to increase their information systems’ performance.

In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, measuring and ensuring the reliability, efficiency and safety of the industrial systems and components are one of the uppermost key concern. In addition, predicting performance degradation or remaining useful life (RUL) of an equipment over time based on its historical sensor data enables companies to greatly reduce their maintenance cost. In this way, companies can prevent costly unexpected breakdown and become more profitable and competitive in the marketplace. This paper introduces a deep learning-based method by combining CNN(Convolutional Neural Networks) and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory)neural networks to predict RUL for industrial equipment. The proposed method does not depend upon any degradation trend assumptions and it can learn complex temporal representative and distinguishing patterns in the sensor data. In order to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed method, we evaluated it on two different experiment: RUL estimation and predicting the status of the IoT devices in 2-week period. Experiments are conducted on a publicly available NASA’s turbo fan-engine dataset. Based on the experiment results, the deep learning-based approach achieved high prediction accuracy. Moreover, the results show that the method outperforms standard well-accepted machine learning algorithms and accomplishes competitive performance when compared to the state-of-the art methods

For organizations operating with number of products/services and number of suppliers, to select the right
supplier meeting all their requirements will be a challenging job. Such organizations need a good
decision support system to evaluate the suppliers effectively. Several decision support systems have been
reported to deal with complex selection process to decide the right supplier. Many mathematical models
have also been developed. This paper presents a new method, named as Bit Decision Making (BDM)
method, which treats such complex system of decision making as a collection and sequence of reasonable
number of meaningful and manageable sub-systems by identifying and processing the relevant decision
criteria in each sub-system. Help of Boolean logic and Boolean algebra is taken to assign binary digit
values to the selection criteria and generate mathematical equations that correlate the inputs to the output
at each stage of decision making. Each sub-system with its own mathematical model has been treated as a
standardized decision sub-system for that phase of making decision in evaluating suppliers. The sequence
and connectivity of the sub-systems along with their outputs finally lead to selection of the best supplier. A
real-world case of evaluation of information technology (IT) tenders has been dealt with for application of
the proposed method. The paper discusses in detail the theory, methodology, application and features of
the new method.

The work is about using Simulated Annealing Algorithm for the effort estimation model parameter
optimization which can lead to the reduction in the difference in actual and estimated effort used in model
development.
The model has been tested using OOP’s dataset, obtained from NASA for research purpose.The data set
based model equation parameters have been found that consists of two independent variables, viz. Lines of
Code (LOC) along with one more attribute as a dependent variable related to software development effort
(DE). The results have been compared with the earlier work done by the author on Artificial Neural
Network (ANN) and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and it has been observed that the
developed SA based model is more capable to provide better estimation of software development effort than
ANN and ANFIS

Short Term Load Forecasting (STLF) can predict load from several minutes to week plays
the vital role to address challenges such as optimal generation, economic scheduling, dispatching and
contingency analysis. This paper uses Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) Artificial Neural Network
(ANN) technique to perform STFL but long training time and convergence issues caused by bias,
variance and less generalization ability, unable this algorithm to accurately predict future loads. This
issue can be resolved by various methods of Bootstraps Aggregating (Bagging) (like disjoint
partitions, small bags, replica small bags and disjoint bags) which helps in reducing variance and
increasing generalization ability of ANN. Moreover, it results in reducing error in the learning process
of ANN. Disjoint partition proves to be the most accurate Bagging method and combining outputs of
this method by taking mean improves the overall performance. This method of combining several
predictors known as Ensemble Artificial Neural Network (EANN) outperform the ANN and Bagging
method by further increasing the generalization ability and STLF accuracy.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas.
