SYNOPSIS
A qualified professional with 25 years of experience in Instrumentation Maintenance , pre -
commissioning, commissioning & Revamping. Recent I was been assigned with Wood group
PSN(Kpop) (AGIP KCO) as an Instrument Lead Commissioning Technician for commissioning & Start -
up jobs to support operations of GAS Plant in Europe (Kazakhstan) on 28/28 on-off cycle which was
completed on Nov 2013 Presently engaged with KBR for commissioning of project in Saudi Arabia
for SADARA-DOW chemical's joint venture.
Troubleshoot field and control room process Loops using appropriate test equipment & analyse fault.
Respond effectively to emergency fault conditions anywhere in assigned area & Perform emergency
field repairs.
Interpret technical documentation - data sheets, vendor manuals, troubleshooting flowcharts etc.
Interpret technical drawings from simple schematics to complex PID's, ILD's and PLC ladder logic
diagrams.
Perform detailed functional tests on systems integrated from different vendors.
Perform, or direct, complex fault diagnosis on DCS (Yokogawa & Foxboro Invensys related to
hardware & up to basic level of DCS graphics.)
Ability to configuration databases that do not Affect the logical operation of the plant or process
(range Changes, tuning parameters, etc.)
Significant experience in execution of projects revamping & commissioning of equipments.
Extensive experience in instrumentation & control combined with proficiency in co-ordinating with
operations maintenance functions. Well versed with process Instruments for preventive, corrective,
shutdown & start-up activities.
Familiar with ATEX & Hazardous Area equipments. Able to handle Loop checking independently as
per ITP & verify the Loop Folders as per standard procedures & update the Instrument Loop diagrams
during loop checks(Red line mark-ups).
Generate Punches & co-ordinate with vendor packages to map I/O with DCS on Modbus protocol &
resolve the same with vendors assistance. Back-up support for operations during OTP performed.
Fully conversant & undergone training for LOTO to perform substation loops pertaining to Pumps, Fin
Fan motors having speed control drives.
CO-ordinate for RFI, Mc, Punch Generation & Resolve, QVD Review & SPIR. Liaise with Client to Push-up
the task for completion.
Performed cause & Effects testing as per SIL level incorporated on the chart & ability to read logics
incorporated with Foxboro DCS & Triconex ESD systems.
Attend & Conduct Tool box talk daily pertaining to work scope & PTW requirements.
Proficiency in maintenance strategies, procedures and methods for diagnosing breakdown problems
