What is it about?
4. Key measures include:
improvement in regional legislation and framework,
facilitating and supporting high-RES DHC
integration of high-RES DHC in heat planning at regional
and local level
study, planning and supporting of new high-RES DHC
projects at local level
6 regional task forces on high-RES DHC
ambitious capacity building activity at regional and national
level
5. Quantitative objectives
RES DHC capacity installed or planned up to 280 Mio. €,
corresponding to 14 new plants or modernisations of existing
plants;
20 municipalities or other market actors (e.g. DHC utilities)
start activities with RES DHC;
18 seminars, 144 hours of training and 120 participants;
20 real case studies developed and supported;
6 regional permanent task forces are created, with an average
of 10 relevant stakeholders;
6. Quantitative objectives
public acceptance towards DHC will increase by 20 % in
absolute terms;
500 participants reached in dissemination events, > 500
website visits per month, > 2000 downloads;
stakeholders replicate SmartReFlex models in more than 10
cases.
7. Consortium
PlanEnergi, DDHA: know-how providers from Denmark and
transnational consultancy team;
AMBIT, SFZ, Hamburg Institute, XD Consulting, IREC:
transnational consultancy team;
ANCI ER, TEA, KCC, INCASOL, MELUR: regional
implementing partners;
AGFW, AIRU: DHC utilities providing needs, know-how and
dissemination capacity.
8. Ireland Activities (1 of 2)
Three Partners in Ireland
XD Consulting, Kerry County Council and Tipperary Energy
Agency.
Overall aim is to improve policy & capacity for DH and to
bring two DH projects to development stage.
