  2. 2.  Formed in 2009  Supported by the Scottish Government  Purpose is to ensure that all sectors of Scotland’s economy and civic society contribute fully to achieving Scotland’s ambitious climate change targets @2020ClimateGrp
  3. 3.  Climate change and delivering an economy based on securing sustainable energy sources are twin challenges for Scotland’s environment, economy and people.  Government alone cannot hope to tackle these challenges. The 2020 Group has come from; a view that those key people in Scotland who are in a position to contribute or influence action should work together. @2020ClimateGrp
  4. 4.  The Group encourages greater collaboration and shared best practice between Scottish organisations and businesses.  Scotland has a target of 42% carbon reduction by 2020. @2020ClimateGrp
