OpenStreetMap is a collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. With over 1 million registered users, volunteers contribute data about roads, buildings, and points of interest which are made openly available under an open license. While OpenStreetMap collects map data, it is not meant for data analysis and does not contain all possible information. The exposure data collected can be used in InaSAFE, a platform for natural hazard impact simulations.
