Editor's Notes
We acknowledge and thank the First Peoples of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (hun-ki-meen-um) language group on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live."
Students will have a lot to say about the process
Don’t add everything – this is not a digital scrapbook of everything they do (e.g. photo of spelling test)
It will take time to have kids thoughtfully reflect on their work (e.g. Dimmick and McCaskill)
Think of this as permission to slow down and not worry about covering everything (new curriculum is far less demanding in terms of content, so rather than worry about covering content, let’s uncover it)
Just like getting a driver’s license, let students learn to add to their eportfolios and thoughtfully reflect
