MIDIH Solutions and DIHIWARE platform provides three solutions:
1. MIDIH Open Platform is an open platform to connect industrial systems through common standards and integrate solutions for software, data, and business models.
2. DIHIWARE is a knowledge management and collaboration platform offering services like challenges/contests, a marketplace, and workflows.
3. A 6P methodology assesses a company's digital maturity across people, partners, product, production, platform, and performance then develops a migration plan to their target profile.

This document summarizes a presentation about digital industrial platforms in Europe. It discusses how platforms can strengthen European leadership in manufacturing by unlocking data, integrating technologies, and facilitating applications and services. It outlines the roles of platforms, provides examples, and maps platforms to the Reference Architecture Model Industry 4.0. The presentation emphasizes the need for Europe to shape the business-to-business platform landscape, address fragmentation, and set interoperability frameworks. It also reviews the European Commission's strategy and funding for digital manufacturing platforms and calls for collaboration to increase impact.
MIDIH is a 36-month, €8.5M project coordinated by EIT Digital to establish a network of digital innovation hubs across Europe to support manufacturers, especially SMEs, in their adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. The project aims to provide open digital platforms, technological and business services, and skills training to help European manufacturers digitize their operations and remain competitive globally. MIDIH will launch two open calls offering up to €60K in funding per project for experiments utilizing its reference architecture and involving smart factory, product, and supply chain scenarios. The first call will run from March-June 2018 with funding decisions in July 2018.
The Grand Opening presentation held by Ulrich Ahle, CEO of FIWARE Foundation on June, 8 2021 at the FIWARE Smart Fest. Everything you need to know about FIWARE technology, FIWARE Community and the strategy of FIWARE to tackle the coming wave of change.

The project involves 50 partners across 11 European countries and will receive €30 million in funding plus €6 million in cascade funding. It will develop technologies in energy management systems and smart devices/appliances using ICT approaches like cloud computing, blockchain, and big data. The project expects to achieve impacts like increased adoption of IoT standards, validated concepts for user acceptance and privacy, and contributions to renewable energy and efficiency. It will implement seven large-scale pilots across Europe and provide €4.8 million in funding for additional initiatives through open calls.
INTERRFACE Project Overview - OPEN DEI 1st Energy Domain WorkshopOPEN DEI
This project aims to develop an interoperable pan-European grid services architecture (IEGSA) to facilitate coordination between transmission system operators (TSOs), distribution system operators (DSOs), consumers, and other stakeholders. The project has a budget of €20.9 million and will run for 4 years, demonstrating concepts in several European countries. It seeks to increase system efficiency, integrate distributed energy resources, and empower consumers by standardizing grid services and digital technologies across Europe.
CoordiNet Project Overview - OPEN DEI 1st Energy Domain WorkshopOPEN DEI
This 23-partner, €19.2M project called CoordiNet is demonstrating innovative network services through demand response, storage and distributed generation across three demonstration areas in Sweden. The project runs from 2019-2022. It has developed a day-ahead capacity market for regional and local distribution system operators to procure flexibility services from aggregators and other flexibility providers. The market design integrates with the Nord Pool day-ahead market. The flexibility market and platform have operated successfully in its first winter, with preliminary conclusions that compensation methods, digital tools, forecasting accuracy and coordination can be improved.
BD4OPEM Project Overview - OPEN DEI 1st Energy Domain WorkshopOPEN DEI
1. The 1st Energy Domain Workshop discussed the Big Data for OPen innovation Energy Marketplace (BD4OPEM) project.
2. BD4OPEM is a Horizon 2020 project that aims to create an open innovation marketplace using big data solutions to transform the energy sector.
3. The project has 42 partners across Europe and will run for 42 months, with objectives of developing scalable big data solutions, integrating new stakeholders into the energy market, and further decarbonizing the power system to impact sectors like policy, socioeconomics, and the environment.

Tech Talk: Unstructured Data and Vector Databases
Speaker: Tim Spann (Zilliz)
Abstract: In this session, I will discuss the unstructured data and the world of vector databases, we will see how they different from traditional databases. In which cases you need one and in which you probably don’t. I will also go over Similarity Search, where do you get vectors from and an example of a Vector Database Architecture. Wrapping up with an overview of Milvus.

Discover the cutting-edge telemetry solution implemented for Alan Wake 2 by Remedy Entertainment in collaboration with AWS. This comprehensive presentation dives into our objectives, detailing how we utilized advanced analytics to drive gameplay improvements and player engagement.
Key highlights include:
Primary Goals: Implementing gameplay and technical telemetry to capture detailed player behavior and game performance data, fostering data-driven decision-making.
Tech Stack: Leveraging AWS services such as EKS for hosting, WAF for security, Karpenter for instance optimization, S3 for data storage, and OpenTelemetry Collector for data collection. EventBridge and Lambda were used for data compression, while Glue ETL and Athena facilitated data transformation and preparation.
Data Utilization: Transforming raw data into actionable insights with technologies like Glue ETL (PySpark scripts), Glue Crawler, and Athena, culminating in detailed visualizations with Tableau.
Achievements: Successfully managing 700 million to 1 billion events per month at a cost-effective rate, with significant savings compared to commercial solutions. This approach has enabled simplified scaling and substantial improvements in game design, reducing player churn through targeted adjustments.
Community Engagement: Enhanced ability to engage with player communities by leveraging precise data insights, despite having a small community management team.
This presentation is an invaluable resource for professionals in game development, data analytics, and cloud computing, offering insights into how telemetry and analytics can revolutionize player experience and game performance optimization.
Discovering Digital Process Twins for What-if Analysis: a Process Mining Appr...Marlon Dumas
This webinar discusses the limitations of traditional approaches for business process simulation based on had-crafted model with restrictive assumptions. It shows how process mining techniques can be assembled together to discover high-fidelity digital twins of end-to-end processes from event data.

IDSA Standardization:
DIN SPEC 27070 is a successful starting point
• DIN SPEC 27070 was published by DIN in March 2020,
• Translation to English is available by IDSA
• In June 2020 we start a Fast Track program to ISO Standard
• Preferred: ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 à ISO/IEC 27070 (number may change)
• The Content of the DIN SPEC shall not be changed to make the DIN SPEC
27070 an ISO standard as fast as possible.
• With the DIN SPEC 27070 the first test profile for (parts of) IEC 62443 is
available.
• Based on the DIN SPEC and the following ISO Standard more aspects of the
IDS-RAM can be made a formal standard in future
