What’s IOT
• The Internet of Things is the network of physical objects or
"things" embedded with electronics, software, sensors and
connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by
exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator and other
connected devices
• It refer to a wide variety of devices such as heart monitoring
implants, electric clams in coastal waters, automobiles with
built-in sensors, or field operation devices that assist fire-
fighters in search and rescue. These devices collect useful data
with the help of various existing technologies
• Current market examples include smart thermostat systems
and washer/dryers that utilize wifi for remote monitoring.
• Dynamic control of industry
and daily life
• Flexible configuration
• Improve the resource
utilization ratio
• Integrating human society
and physical systems.
Why IOT
Trends
• Cloud computing is a recently evolved computing terminology .It
involves deploying groups of remote servers and
softwarenetworks that allow centralized data storage and online access
to computer services or resources.
• A smartphone is a mobile phone with an advanced operating
system.Smartphones typically include the features of a phone with
those of other popular mobile devices, such as personal digital
assistant, media player and GPS navigation unit. Later smartphones add
broadband internet web browsing, Wi-Fi, motion sensors and mobile
payment mechanisms
Future scenario
• The Internet and cellular networks will
become a worldwide standard, with
unprecedented levels of coverage,
reliability and affordability;
• Smaller and smarter "devices" are
constantly hitting the industrial and
consumer markets, making it easier to
conceive and provide new after-sales
and remotely managed services
• Software design and system
interoperability standards like XML,
web services will converge to create
fertile ground for M2M
communications technologies, making
it easier to apply them horizontally
across different industries
Interest areas
• Smart agriculture:To introduce energy renewable smart
sensors in agriculture enables optimal irrigation, to
showcase precision farming products and to predict
environmental changes.
• Smart devices: Capable of reducing time delay and provides
secured environment(managing Big-data).

like to work in my interest areas
