This document provides interim guidelines for assessment and grading in light of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan. It outlines several principles for assessment, including being holistic, authentic, formative, and shared between teachers, students and families. It recommends a variety of assessment strategies with formative assessment taking priority. Weight distributions are provided for summative assessment components between written works and performance tasks across different subject areas and grade/school levels. Sample computations are also included to demonstrate how to calculate scores from written works and performance tasks.
