  • 2. Imagine you’re watching a video, but this video just so happens to support user interaction through various actions such as clicks, gestures or even, voice recognition. 
 
 This means that rather than embarking on a flat, linear journey—where the only options are play, pause, or rewind—you will jump into the director’s chair (perhaps with a creative production team behind you) and create many divergent narratives that your users/colleagues can self-select.  why (now)? We live in a generation where information is in abundance. Millennials are constantly on the lookout for new ways to consume concise and to-the-point knowledge in a timely manner. Leaving the designers, developers, entrepreneurs and training experts to always be on to the next best thing! 
 
 Increasingly, that’s short-form, personalised content. Think brand marketing strategies or better off, YouTube, the second most used search engine, not Bing or Yahoo! 
 
 In addition, where do we store it all? Or should I suggest, how easily do we forget what we’ve just learnt? As we get older, our ability to recall memories gets worse. But there’s another reality looming…many people now see the basic internet search as an extension of our own intelligence. 
 
 This is causing us to develop lazy brains, forget vital facts and not to mention, it’s darn right boring not to challenge ourselves every now and again.

Whether that’s for company training, content generation, or starting a campaign. A study by Forrester Research shows that call to actions (CTA’s) inside video see a 5% -12% higher conversion rate over linear video, that only offers CTA’s around video.
