Science and Technology
 “Science" refers to a body of knowledge itself.

 Science is a Dynamic Process, which is being enriched

everyday by research all over the world.
 Technology is the making, modification, usage, and
knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems,
and methods of organization.
 Technology can also refer to the collection of such tools,
including machinery, modifications, arrangements and
procedures.
Relations between Science and
Technology
 Science discovers fundamental information about how

the universe works.
 Technology is the practical application of that
information.
 A Computer is an example of technology; in order to
invent one, it is necessary to know a lot of fundamental
science.
 There would be no laptops without the fundamental
discoveries of science.
Inclusive
Development

 Including all the services or
items normally expected or
required.
 We need to innovate areas of

inclusive development, social
and financial inclusions,
mainly for the benefits of
masses.
Innovations And India
 If India has to change its course of direction then

Innovation is going to be very crucial.
 In this respect, we need to look at India and innovate them
more.
 We have seen many companies taking lead.
 We have seen TATA, RELIANCE, BIRLA GROUP etc.
 We have seen 1 Rupee Shampoo.
 We have seen telephone and mobile calls available
everywhere.
Science,
Technology
and
Innovation.
A New Class of Planet
Cheap pipes reduces the risk of lake wall bursting

Youngest Game Programmer

Cancer Killing Nano-particles

Artificial Bone Marrow



A New Class of
planet
An international
team of
astronomers have
discovered a new
class of planets.
The gravity,
temperature, and
molecular
composition of an
unusual stellar
object named ROXs
42Bb have been
measured.
Cheap pipes
reduces the risk of
lake wall bursting
Researchers from
Queensland
University of
Technology working
in Bhutan have
discovered that
siphoning the water
with cheap plastic
pipes greatly reduces
the risk of a lake wall
bursting.
Youngest
Game
programmer
 Zora Ball, the
youngest game
programmer.
At seven, Zora
has created a
mobile video
game app using

open-source
software
Bootstrap.
Cancer killing
Nanoparticles
Around 90% of

cancer deaths are
caused by tumors
spreading around
the body, but now
scientists from the
US are a step closer
to stopping this
metastasis by
designing cancerkilling nanoparticles
that hunt and
destroy tumour cells
in the blood.
Artificial Bone
Marrow
German
scientists have
developed
artificial bone
marrow that
allows stem cells
to multiply in the
lab, and could
help doctors treat
leukaemia in a
few years.
Thank you!!!
