ideas, and converting it
into new methods,
products or services.
It is an idea that will
provide quality
improvement to the
organization and will
create a significant
change.
Innovation is based in the
creation (New) or
redesign (improved) of
products, processes, or
framework for the benefit
of an organization.
Innovation makes positive
changes that will directly
benefit a classroom,
school, district, or even
an organization’s training
and learning practices.
Innovation in education is
doing things in a new way
to come up with an
approach, process,
product or strategy.

• To respond to the mandate of
the regional mantra which
underscores that every child
is a champion.
• To showcase innovative
implementation of basic
education services in the five
categories namely:
Curriculum and Instruction;
Policy, Planning, Research,
and Governance; Learning
Environment; Human
Resource Development; and
ALS, SPED, & IPEd as
special programs in the
schools, districts, and schools
division offices.
To provide an intellectual activity
that will produce champions in
diverse areas of basic education.
To solve educational issues,
improve practices, and set
standards among school
institutions.
To empower program
implementers and school leaders
in seeking new perspective of
educational practices that will
benefit learners to become lifelong
