The radio industry can be split into 2
sectors, public service and commercial

Public broadcasters are funded through
government money or through TV

Commercial radio stations are largely
funded through advertisement.
4. Television Industry
Television is the most popular broadcast in the world.
Around the globe, broadcast television is financed by either
government, advertising, licensing (a form of tax), subscription
or any combination of these. To protect revenues, subscription
TV channels are usually encrypted to ensure that only
subscription payers receive the decryption codes to see the
signal. Unencrypted channels are known as free to air or FTA.
On 2 November 1936 the BBC began transmitting the world's
first public regular high-definition service from the
Victorian Alexandra Palace in north London. It therefore claims
to be the birthplace of television broadcasting as we know it
today.

5. Print Industry
Printing is a process for reproducing text and images, typically
with ink on paper using a printing press. It is often carried out as
a large-scale industrial process, and is an essential part of
publishing and transaction printing.
Offset printing is a widely used printing technique where the
inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber
blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in
combination with the lithographic process, which is based on
the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a
flat (planography) image carrier on which the image to be
printed obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing area
attracts a film of water, keeping the non-printing areas ink-free.
