2. Film Industry
The film industry consists of all aspects of film
making e.g. production, distribution and actors.
Company's involved with film making include
DreamWorks, Walt Disney and the BBFC. Most
production company's are set up for specific
projects and close when the production is
complete.
3. Radio Industry
The radio industry consists of all company's
involved with the broadcast of radio stations
such as air media. There are 2 groups of radio
broadcasters, public service broadcasters which
are funded by public money. Commercial
broadcasters are mainly funded by the sales of
advertising spots on the station.
4. Television Industry
The television industry is one of the most
popular forms of entertainment. There are over
one thousand television channels worldwide
meaning many company's are involved with this
industry such as Sky, Virgin media and Discovery.
Many different genres of television programmes
are shown which is why TV has such a large
varied audience.
5. Print Industry
Printing is a process of reproducing text/image
usually done using a printing press on an large
scale. The print industry involves magazines,
advertising posters and business cards etc.
