2. Media Sectors
• Media Sectors are a varied collection of organisations that share the
production, publication and distribution of media texts. Examples of
these include; broadcast television, radio, film, animation, adverts,
corporate production and interactive media.

3. Media Platforms
• Media Platforms are a digitized platform for Media that allows real
time and delayed delivery of a video, audio and data to multiple
networks. These networks include; telco, cable, digital terrestrial
broadcasting and broadband.

4. Media Products
• Media Products are products and services that are used digital
systems. Examples of Media Products include; phones, tablets and
computers.

5. Media Institutions
• Media Institutions are a company that own multiple companies
involved in mass media. Examples of this are; television, social media.

6. How These Link Together
• For example, the film Toy Story.
-The Media Sector is film.
-The Media Platform is Television or Cinema.
-The Media Product is the film itself.
-The Media Institution is Pixar.
