As we live in our house, the
building comes alive through
us. Our dreams, desires,
passions, and interpersonal
compassions make the space lively
enough to be called a home.
The space takes liveliness from us and,
in return, gives us vibes, positive or
negative, depending upon how it has
been envisioned, designed, crafted, and
built.
The four walls and a roof never make a
room, and neither does a collection of
rooms make a home. It requires
immaculate talent, creativity,
imagination, craftsmanship, and
professionalism to build a space that
will be our home for our lifetime.
That is why, when Mrs and Mr Chadha
were having their own house built, and
later when they had the interiors of
their home renovated, the
unprofessional behaviour of builders-
designers and the whole experience left
them exasperated.
But it also motivated them with a
desire to start their own interior
designing firm. With an intent to bring
a glorious customer experience and a
fresh design perspective to the table,
they laid the foundation of ‘The
KariGhars, Bangalore's leading
interior design firm’ in 2009.
The Founders, Abhishek Chadha
(CEO), Aashita Chadha (CFO), and
Vinayak Chadha (Managing
Director), are at the heart of this

Leaders’ Homecoming
Abhishek excelled in all his studies and
graduated from Delhi University with a
Bachelor of Science as a reward for his
arduous work and determination.
He then began his career as an IT
lecturer in Indonesia in 2001.
Later, he relocated to Bangalore as a
senior software engineer and advanced
to the position of VP, where his focus
was UX and UI.
‘The KariGhars’ was a significant
milestone in Abhishek's life. His
inspiration has always come from his
clients' demands and ambitions. He
approaches each project as a challenge
and strives to exceed their

Artisans’ Professional Home
Abhishek says that his better half,
Aashita, came up with the distinctive
name of the firm and contributes
inherently to the design ideology.
The artisans, carpenters, and masons
are an impeccable part of the whole
design process; all categorised under
‘skilled labour.’As a result, she came
up with the name, which alludes to her
affinity toward ethnic Indian roots.
Abhishek says, “Soon, I realised our
firm’s tremendous potential; that is
when I got my brother, Vinayak, on

promptly constructed my website and
used it to land my first client.
I make it a point to attend to even the
smallest details involved in the design
process while also taking the journey
with the client and ensuring they have
a luxurious experience along the way.

Private Limited, registered in India, is precisely doing that.
The idea of establishing Cura Property Services came from
its Managing Director's personal experience. During their
stay in Seattle, Dipty and Anvay faced a few challenging
and difficult situations in respect of their multiple properties
in Pune.
Handling issues relating to their properties remotely was a
hassle. At that time, there were no professional service
providers who could manage their properties completely.
Due to this hurdle, the thought of a professional property

Mrs Dipty Paranjape, one of the co-founders of Cura
Property services has completed her BBM and MBA from
Bangalore specializing in Marketing and Human Resources.
She interned at Companies like Britannia and IBM to gain

defence background, traits of Self-discipline, punctuality,
determination, and hard work were inculcated since
childhood.
After getting married to Mr Anvay Paranjape, she moved to
Seattle, USA. While in the US, she started a small venture
in the food industry. She and her husband moved back to
India for good after staying in Seattle for about eight years.
Mrs Dipty spoke in an interview with CIOLOOK India
about their successful journey so far and how they are
planning Cura's future.

across Pune. The company rolls out exclusive services for

the problem is that needs to be solved. Proper goals and
vision have to be addressed in order to enter this field of
real estate.
How do you envision further strengthening Cura

Following a 15-year stint in the USA, I had the opportunity
to lead a couple of large demand generation companies in
India. This experience helped me understand the gap

Having been in sales for a significant period of my career, I
had an intimate understanding of the challenges of working

As can be seen from the above two
trends, there will be three kinds of
employees. First will be those who will
work from the office as well as
remotely. They will include the top-tier
of management, middle-level
professionals, offline maintenance crew
and key labour workers. They could be
called Glocal.
The second tier will contain all time
remote workers. These are the
employees working in other
geographies than the company's main
offices are located. They will mostly
include experts, professionals,
outsourced labour, and an online
maintenance crew. We can call them

And the third tier will contain all the
automatons.
The Great Resignation: Attention on
Attrition
In what is labelled as 'The Great
Resignation', 15 million plus
employees have left their jobs, since
April 2021. And 55% of professionals
point out that the trend has only
accelerated in 2022. This year, where
employee turnover is the main concern
of HRM, apart from the changed work
culture of WFH.
The basic solution to this issue is a Pay
hike and bonus for working from the

Mr Pai, please enlighten our readers about Milind Pai
Architects and its stronghold in the architecture and
design industry.
Established in 1987, Milind Pai Architects is a multi-
specialty firm undertaking projects in commercial,
residential, institutional, healthcare and hospitality interiors
and presently operates from a well-equipped office in
Mumbai's suburb of Andheri.
In 30 years of its existence, we have covered 30 cities in
India and three out of India and executed more than 600
projects under various verticals.
Please tell us about yourself and shed some light on your
professional tenure in the architecture and designing
industry.
Since the establishment of Milind Pai – Architects &
Designers in 1987, I have been striving to add value and
expertise to its think – tank. A perfectionist by nature and
with an uncompromising flair for innovations, adding new
milestones for this firm has been a constant practice.
The firm has never hesitated in accepting projects in various
verticals involving design expertise. On a personal front, I
love to travel a lot and have been to several exotic
destinations around the world. I like to study the varied
cultures around the world and love photography.
Personally, I love meeting people and interacting with them.
This is also being the one crucial trait people think that has
led the firm to complete projects in 30 cities in India and
three projects internationally.
What was your inspiration behind venturing into the
architecture and designing sector?
The basic inspiration is, in fact, that you must be the best in

the niche you are catering to. It is said that ‘Winners don’t
do different things but do their things differently.’ We
strongly believe in this philosophy.
What were the initial challenges after venturing into the
architecture and designing sector, and looking at the
current industry scenario, what are the challenges now?
After venturing into this industry as a budding professional,
our major challenges were building from nothing, getting
clients and gaining their trust as a foundation for our firm,
completing projects with client satisfaction, detailed
finishing and precision and building an established brand
name and identity. And now that we are a well-established
brand, sustaining our older challenges and overcoming new
ones as we set more unique milestones.

clients?
Our well-trained design team undertakes professional
designing jobs and executes them in close coordination with
various agencies engaged for the job. We have a well-
equipped team with complete facilities for end-to-end
design solutions.
We produce drawings in AutoCAD and 3DMax formats,
besides other supporting software for design, presentations,
and technical matters. We undertake to provide a total end-
to-end solution from conceiving to successfully handing
over a completely immaculate project.
What are the immersive benefits of these services or
solutions?
As a well-established brand, we have basic standards and
ethics that can't be altered to maintain our quality of service
to our clients. Hence these standards make our projects
practical, user-friendly, and unique.

Our design philosophy is a simple extension of ‘Form
follows Function.’ The spaces we design are a result of a
comprehensive analysis of the client’s requirements and

advice to the budding entrepreneurs and enthusiasts
aspiring to venture into the architecture and designing
sector?
Our advice to budding architects and designers would be to
excel in whatever you are doing and be far ahead of your
competitors. Work on continuous short-term goals with
little variable options but focus on your long-term goal.
There would be many downfalls in your whole career
before establishing yourself, but you should always keep
one thing in mind: ‘Never give up and bounce back after
every setback.’
How do you envision further scaling Milind Pai
Architects' stronghold in 2022 and beyond?
Our extreme zest to analyze the clients’ need and develop
the designs totally from their perspective—is the
philosophy we have adhered to right—from our initial days
in the profession.
As a part of our regular design process, our firm deeply
studies the various aspects of the client, like his family,
profession, physical and emotional needs, temperament,
budgets, aesthetical expectations, design style and
exposure, the client's peers, and competitors and even the
client’s energy levels and work-life discipline.
We avoid getting emotionally attached to a singular design
style and not losing our creativity and interest in exploring
newer and bolder ideas. And through this vision, we see
ourselves further strengthening our stronghold in the
coming years.

That is why, when Mrs and Mr Chadha were having their own house built, and later when they had the interiors of their home renovated, the unprofessional behaviour of builders- designers and the whole experience left them exasperated. But it also motivated them with a desire to start their own interior designing firm. With an intent to bring a glorious customer experience and a fresh design perspective to the table, they laid the foundation of ‘The KariGhars, Bangalore's leading interior design firm’ in 2009. The Founders, Abhishek Chadha (CEO), Aashita Chadha (CFO), and Vinayak Chadha (Managing Director), are at the heart of this excellency-driven firm. Machines like robots, auto-bots and chatbots are widely deployed in manual labour activities, manufacturing units, assembly workshops, call center and other roles. The year 2022 so far has seen an explosive growth of Hyper-Automation Technology (HAT). In it, multiple automation technologies are aligned to create an automated ecosystem to effectively implement the company's automation strategy. Gartner predicts the worldwide HAT market to reach $600 billion by the end of 2022, with up to 30% operational cost savings for the companies deploying the technology. Glocal, Global and Automatons; Three-tiered Workforce As can be seen from the above two trends, there will be three kinds of employees.
