The document proposes developing a website to promote wildlife conservation in India. The website would provide information about Indian animals, facilitate discussions between conservationists, and share research on topics like habitats and climate change. The proposed system aims to address limitations of existing systems by offering these services, user registration and profiles, photo/video sharing, and feedback mechanisms. The website would have modules for administrators, registered users, anonymous users, and careers information. It would use common web technologies like Java, JSP, and Oracle database and be deployed on Linux/Windows servers.

2. Objective:
 An amusing website for promoting awareness and
conservation of India’s wildlife. Apart from arousing
the alertness it will posses detailed information on
various rare Indian animals along with coverage of all
species of animals that roam in the woods of INDIA.
With this, it will act as a platform for wildlife
conservationists and ecologist to share their
knowledge and recent trends in this field. It will
incubate research and participation on subjects like
animal communications, habitats, wildlife health
issues, effects of global warming and various disasters.

3. Existing System:
 This existing system is not providing wildlife information. It is not help
to people who are interested to know about wildlife they did not get
proper information related wildlife animals and wildlife animals
habitats etc.
 There are no facilitaty members to form groups to organize local
meetings, wildlife forums, periodicals and Wildlife camps.
 No platform for people to post interesting photos, videos and
presentations on Indian Wildlife.
 There is no proper information for users with various career
opportunities in the field of wildlife, along with list of universities
offering Wildlife Degrees, fellowships and certifications.
 No portals for recent wildlife success stories with an opportunity for
users to participate in Wildlife blogs, forums, internships, conferences
and other awareness programs.
 This existing system is not providing secure registration and profile
management of all the users properly.
 The system doesn’t provide any facility to maintain any feedback
option.

4. Proposed System:
 The proposed system contains the following activities to
make online. This acts as platform for wildlife information
this contains wildlife conservationists and to share their
knowledge and recent trends in this field. It will incubate
research and participation on subjects like animal
communications, habitats, wildlife health issues, effects of
global warming and various disaster.
 It providing facilitaty members to form groups to organize
local meetings, wildlife forums, periodicals and Wildlife
camps and to know wildlife animal’s habits etc.
 Its helps to registered users to post interesting photos,
videos and presentations on Indian Wildlife.

opportunities in the field of wildlife, along with list of
universities offering Wildlife Degrees, fellowships and
certifications.
 It provides portals for recent wildlife success stories with an
opportunity for users to participate in Wildlife blogs,

 Authentication is provided for this application only
registered users can access.
 This system maintains user’s personal, address, and contact
details.
 Report generation features is provided using to generate
different kind of reports.
 System also tracks the feedbacks online.

7. Site Administrator :
 In this module Site Administrator can accept/Reject
the registration requests of the different users
(Wildlife conservationist, ecologists, veterinarians and
wildlife enthusiasts). He can portray recent wildlife
success stories with an opportunity for users to
participate in Wildlife blogs, forums, internships,
conferences and other awareness programs. He can
add different types of animals and animal types. He
can upload animal images, files (videos). He can post
A regular NEWS-LETTER should be sent to registered
users to spread awareness.

8. Registered Users:
 In this module Registered Users (Wildlife
conservationist, ecologists, veterinarians and wildlife
enthusiasts) view event details. They can get the
details about veterinaries contact details and
conservationist addresses and contact details. They
can view newsletter posted by admin and get
knowledge about animals. They can also upload
animal images files, video files, documentaries. They
can post quires to conservationist, veterinarians and
get replays to their quires.

9. Anonymous Users:
 Anonymous user has the permissions to visit this site
and get information about animals. They will get
recent wildlife success stories with an opportunity for
users to participate in Wildlife blogs, forums,
internships, conferences and other awareness
programs.

10. Career opportunities:
 This module contains with various career
opportunities in the field of wildlife, along with list of
universities offering Wildlife Degrees, fellowships and
certifications. It provides information wildlife
education, education offering universities.

11. Authentication and Security
Module:
 The user details should be verified against the details
in the user tables and if it is valid user, they should
be entered into the system. Once entered, based on
the user type access to the different modules to be
enabled / disabled and individual user can change
their default password or old password.
