case. Before juvenile delinquency was established, juveniles were trialed and treated as adults.
There was no such thing as a juvenile court, juvenile correctional facilities, or juvenile support
groups, when the juvenile deviated. Later, many believed that when juveniles deviated that it meant

s Nicomachean s Ethics, Aristotle gives his own wisdom to his son, Nicomachean on how to

My Life Experience
Not many people can say their biggest life lesson was taught by a bus. On October 23, 2015 I
was shown to never take my life for granted. Lakeside Rams football was ready to face Dequeen
for the chance to win a conference championship. The intensity of game day was electrifying
even though it was a humid, sultry, and rainy day we loaded the buses with our earphones in
preparing ourselves for the night ahead. As we were loading up my buddy Jeremy grabbed me
on the shoulder and suggested we sat on the sophomore bus because there would be more room.
I agreed even though I despised the lower class and grabbed the back two seats of the bus. All
the way up to this point in my life, I enjoyed bus rides and enjoyed them ten times more when the
reasoning was to go play football. I enjoyed the calmness and relaxation as much as I enjoyed the
jokes, sudden bursts of laughter, and the intensity I felt when we got closer to the stadium.

catalysts in biochemical reactions in living organisms. Enzyme Catecholase is found on in plants,
animals as well as fungi and is responsible for the darkening of different fruits. In most cases
enzymatic activities are influenced by a number of factors, among them is temperature, PH, enzyme
concentration as well as substrate concentration (Silverthorn, 2004). In this experiment enzyme
catecholase was used to investigate the effects of PH and enzyme concentration on it rate of
reaction. A pH buffer was used to control the PH, potato juice was used as the substrate and water
was used as a solvent.
The experiments involved PH buffers of different pH were added to potato juice, water, and the
enzyme catecholase. The mixture was then subjected to spectrophotometer at a wavelength of
420nm taking the absorbance readings. In the second experiment, a phosphate buffer of PH 7.0 was
used in different measures together with different measurement of potato juice and the enzyme
catecholase then subjected to the spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 420nm. The data collected
inform of table and analyzed using descriptive statistics such as line graph and later interpreted,

The impact of rap music in today s society is extremely substantial. Many Americans listen to rap
music, even though different rap artist discuss various issues in their songs, it may influences
their fans to do the same. A large amount of rap music contains explicit lyrics that describe illegal
activities, aggression, and sexual content. Researchers from Iowa State University and the Texas
Department of Human Services found that aggressive music lyrics increase aggressive thought
and feelings, might perpetuate aggressive behavior and have long term effects (American
Psychological Association). Therefore, when Americans listen to rap music with that type of
perspective it promotes misogyny, illegal activities and sexual content. Rap music not only
describes violence but it exploits females. For example, the song entitled Gold Digger by Kanye

gold digger way over town, That digs on me not including that the music video shows women

According to Dr. West, rap music identifies young black women in five sexual different personas.
Those five different personas are a diva, gold digger, freak, gangster b**** and baby mama

What Is The Reflection Of Lucretius s On The Nature Of Things
In his work, On the Nature of Things (De Rerum Natura), Lucretius sought to address superstitious
fears and unscientific notions that were embedded in his state s (Rome) religion (450). He recalls
the story of King Agamemnon having to sacrifice his daughter to appease Artemis. Upon this
recollection, he makes the claim that religion is wicked. However, unlike Lucretiuss belief, true
religious faithfulness, as it relates to the Biblical God, does not lead to wickedness, but rather
offers redemption from the wicked. Titus Lucretius Carus (ca. 99 55 B.C.) dedicated his life to
philosophy and found what he believed was the meaning of things through studying the teachings
of Epicurus, a third century B.C. Athenian philosopher. Upon discovering Epicureanism, Lucretius
found the work to be liberating as it sought to address humanity s anxieties and to provide
freedom from it. On the Nature of Things can be regarded as Lucretius personal reflection of
Epicurean beliefs. At the time of Lucretius work, it was uncommon for literature to express any
notion of beliefs that opposed the traditional beliefs about the gods. Due to this, his views did
not have many supporters during his own time. However, his work was rediscovered during the
Renaissance, and it is recognized as a unique expression of Roman culture. In his poem,
Lucretius intends to deliver the human spirit from imaginary fears by presenting a purely
naturalistic, materialistic interpretation of the world (450). He believed that this belief in the
supernatural was an idea that weighed down man and something they needed to be freed from. In
the opening of the passage he describes, A Greek, first raised his mortal eyes bravely against this
menace [Religion]... So his force, a vital force of mind, a conqueror explored the vast immensities
of space, with wit and wisdom, and came back to us triumphant (Lucretius 451). Lucretius is
describing the account of Epicurus and the foundation of Epicureanism. He boldly describes
Epicurus as a hero in an effort to persuade his audience of the superiority of this naturalistic
worldview. He continues to say, [he brings us] news of what can be and what cannot, limits and
