This document discusses using web 2.0 tools to develop critical thinking skills in African American students in distance education programs. It outlines how tools like discussion boards, wiki collaboration, and video creation can help students analyze, evaluate, and create at higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. Validating online sources and participating in discussions helps students evaluate information. Creating videos and photo essays allows students to synthesize ideas. Wiki collaboration facilitates knowledge sharing and application of concepts.
