Technology has became inventible in the field of education even i.docxMARRY7
Technology has became inventible in the field of education even in line with the development of other fields such as engineering, medicine, defense and aerospace, agriculture, science and the modern era.
The definition of "technology education" is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources. Technology is ubiquitous, touching almost every part of our lives, our communities, our homes. using technology in education will help students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex, highly technological knowledge-based economy.
Technology also changes the way teachers teach, offering educators effective ways to reach different types of learners and assess student understanding through multiple means. It also enhances the relationship between teacher and student. When technology is effectively integrated into subject areas, teachers grow into roles of adviser, content expert, and coach. Technology helps make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.
Nowadays using technology in the classroom is becoming easier for teachers because students are coming to class with more skills. Whether a teacher requires it or not, most students use technology for their projects. When any teacher brings technology into the classroom, he or she will no longer be the center of attention. The level of refocused attention will, of course, depend on the amount and the type of technology (e.g., mobile device, e-reader, laptop, interactive whiteboard) being brought into the classroom. However, this does not mean that the teacher is no longer essential to the learning process. While students may be surrounded by technology at home, it is dangerous to assume that they know how to use it for learning Moreover, The Internet has many sites that easily lend themselves to classroom integration ,Yet, it still many teachers do not feel comfortable integrate technology in classroom especially, old teachers. I believes that educational system should train teachers how to use technology before they start teaching or even conducting professional development every year in order to adapt with new technology.
There are many benefits of using technology in the classroom, especially as students become increasingly digitally literate. Technology in the classroom enables the use of more interactive educational tools, which allows for a dynamic learning experience that directly benefits students. Another advantage of using technology in the classroom is its flexibility and adaptability to differentiated learning. Technologies such as podcasts and vodcasts, for instance, provide students with the opportunity to learn at their own pace and the freedom to go back and relearn content whenever they want. This could be especially important for ESL students and students with learning disabilities. A vital skill in the new digital world is the ability to work collabora ...
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
5. REASONS WHY SCHOOL SHOULD IMPLEMENT
TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
If used correctly, will help prepare students
for their future careers, which will inevitably
include the use of wireless technology.
Integrating technology into the classroom is
definitely a great way to reach diversity in
learning styles.
6. It gives students the chance to interact with
their classmates more by encouraging
collaboration.
Technology helps the teachers prepare
students for the real world environment. As
our nation becomes increasingly more
technology-dependent, it becomes even
more necessary that to be successful
citizens, students must learn to be tech-
savvy.
7. Integrating technology in education everyday
helps students stay engaged. Today’s
students love technology so they are sure to
be interested in learning if they can use the
tools they love.
With technology, the classroom is a happier
place. Students are excited about being able
to use technology and therefore are more apt
to learn.
8. When mobile technology is readily available
in the classroom, students are able to access
the most up-to-date information quicker and
easier than ever before.
The traditional passive learning mold is
broken. With technology in the classroom the
teacher becomes the encourager, adviser,
and coach.
9. Students become more responsible.
Technology helps students take more control
over their own learning. They learn how to
make their own decisions and actually think
for themselves.
Student can have access to digital textbooks
that are constantly updated and often more
vivid, helpful, creative, and a lot cheaper than
those old heavy books.
10. Importance of Technology in
Education
As we all know that Technology nowadays is very
hightech because it can make our work more easier. It
can also help students doing their school works. It can
make their work more faster and easily be done . 21st
century learner are very innovative interms in
manipulating computers because they have already the
knowledge or skills on how to manipulate it. But they
should not use it in a wrong way that it came to apoint
that they are very abusive in using it instead use in a
right way.
