Preschool -Aged Kids 11-12 hours
School-Aged Kids At least 10 hours
Teens 9-10 hours
Adults 6-8 hours
Sleep as a Friend :
 Relaxes and lowers stress .
 Improves moods and energy .
 Get a healthy body .
 Keeps active at any works .
 Increases ability to pay attention .
 Get remove of Depression .
 Increase memory power
Sleep Robbers :
 Mobile phone screen ( blue light ).
 Extreme use of Internet .
 Tea and Coffee
 Over eating
 Alcohol , Cigarette
 Depresion
Effect Of Sleepless :
 Physiological Effects:-
 Obesity
 Hormonal imbalance
 Lowers productivity in male(by reducing Testosteron
secretion)
 Risk of Type-2 Diabetes(Imbalance in Insulin secretion)
 Risk of Cardiovascular diseases
 Weaker immunity(Less sleep in just 1night lowers 70% of
Anticancer cells)
 Lowers Memorising capacity
Effect Of Sleepless :
Social Effects:-
 Abnormalities in behavior
 Indifference in study
 Depresion(leads to many crime actions)

 Loss of concentration in work
 Drops family income
 Drops national income(In USA,every year 63 billion USD are lost
just due to INSOMNIA)

 In Islam it is sin staying awake in night & sleep in day.

[a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.(Surah Al
Furqan 25:47)
